Great location, close to most attractions to visit. The room is clean, bathroom big enough and the staff is at your service. A small problem arises when at the reception is no person who speaks English. Twice we visited this hostel and once there were even two persons who were speaking English, and at the second visit there was a... More

Just stay there one night. It was a surprising friendly and helpfully athmosphere. Clean and stylish rooms. Free tea and coffee. It is placed in the center of barcelona and you can reach the beach as well as the city in a few minutes walk.

Alright - so for the location the room was cheap, BUT nonetheless one could expect a DRY room. The room was extremely damp (probably because the "bathroom" was just separated by sheetrock). Hence the room was damp and partly mouldy. The shower was mouldy as well, and there were small insects running around on the wall. Finally the house is... More

A great hostel at a good location. The rooms are extremely neat and cosy. Wi Fi connectivity was free and good. But the best part was the staff. They were really helpful and had a great deal of patience to clarify all our doubts, and suggest us the best possible ways to plan our day! I give this hostel a big... More

First of all i think for what you are paying and for the location it is a good deal, but there is a big problem, the amount of noise during the night you will have because the Pension is located near a main street and the amount of bars nearby. Also this is just a place to sleep, there is... More

This hostel exceeded our expectations. Staff were very friendly, the rooms were immaculate & the location couldn't have been better. The only down side was sharing the shower with other travellers, the door has not been fitted with a proper lock so is easy to open from the other side, unfortunately for us we had to share the bathroom with... Location is very good, on the border of Barri Gothic, El Born, and Barcelonetta, so you have easy walking access to all those parts. Rooms are big considering Barcelona but closer to basic, with big private bathroom, A/C and TV (though we didn't use them). Our room had a balcony facing to Estacio de Franca and wide busy street. This... More

This Hostel was very easy to find and walking from Passeig d. Gracia train station was really nice down lots of little lanes. The location is superb, only a 5 minute walk to Barceloneta metro station which is also next to Port Vell and close from there to Las Ramblas etc. As I mentioned earlier, there are lots of lovely... Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
