We stayed as a family of four for three nights in January...... what a find! Large spacious family room, wonderful old Barcelona building with a great roof terrace, Great continental breakfast if you don't want to find a café in the morning, Really friendly owners. We arrived after 8 in the evening and Ingrid recommended places to eat close by... More

Great find!! Hidden amongst the heart of Eixamples grid like classic streets, lies a gem. Attentive, friendly and informative staff Decent sized rooms, impeccably decorated with mod cons required. You want beer, pizzas, sandwich, breakfast? I challenge you to find cheaper prices . Beer 1 euro, bottle of wine 4.5 euro. Pizza 6 euro Lovely little roof terrace which would... More

We stayed here for 5 nights in December after finding a great value deal on Expedia. A fantastic choice for us as the location was perfect to get to everything we wanted to see. The hotel is within walking distance to La Rambla, Arc de Triomf, Park de Ciutadella, Barcelona Catedral, Santa Maria Del Mar. We also walked to the... More

We booked here a double room with balcony for 4 nights and paid 172 euros, which was a great value for our money. The hostal is easily accessible from the airport by train, and located at the best part of the city, just 2 streets away from the Passeig de Grácia and the wonderful La Pedrera. We also could easily... More

This is a fantastic little place in the center of Barcelona, very close to Passeig de Gracia (and Gaudi's Casa Mila). Sagrada Familia, the old town of Barcelona, and La Rambla are within walking distance, if you don't mind strolling through the city (which - given the wide streets and array of shops - really isn't a bad experience). The... More

Friendly small hotel within walking distance to most of the major sights of Barcelona. Lots of restaurants around the hotel. Small supermarket in the same building. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice terrace. Coffe, tea and some snacks available 24/7. Okay breakfast. The only drawback I could find is that the room is not very soundproof. I would happily stay at Khronos... More

Stayed in the hostal for 3 nights. The hostal itself is in a prime location to explore the sounds and sites of the city. The owners were very accommodating, even prior to the trip, responding to emails accurately and promptly. The hostal is decorated tastefully and stylishly and the roof top terrace is great for chilling. I have visited Barcelona... More

We were able to check in early and were greeted by Ingrid who was very helpful and assisted us with tickets and local restaurant suggestions. Our room was updated, clean and comfortable. During our short stay, my husband lost his cell phone in a taxi, and Ingrid was helpful in attempting to recover it. Great experience, would love to return!

Stayed here for 3 nights over bank holiday weekend. Didn't arrive until 2 am thanks to problems with the flight over but the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We were brought hot toast and bottles of wine to our room even though it was stupid o clock! Lovely little sun terrace, walking distance to most things and loved the... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
