I cannot imagine a better location. My only complaint was that the buffet breakfast was pricey. The rooms were comfortably with a classy upscale elegance. I had heard from other reviewers that the staff was rude. I did not have that experience at all.

A lovely gothic feel in a breathtaking setting overlooking the Cathedral. Lovely spacious rooms tastfully decorated. Ideal location for exploring Barcelona and only a few minutes walk from the famous La Rambla. Only negative, breakfast poor so would give it a miss and eat at one of the many cafe bars around the sqaure.

The motorized window screens were a touch weird The hotel had a distinct electrical burning smell. Smoking odors were noted. The marble was a nice touch. On an amazing public square. Food and transpo are near. SUPER helpful staff. Beds are better around the corner at Hotel Catedral.
