Stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks. Had a great experience. Was good enough for 2 people. Price was very reasonable, and you have literally everything near you that you could ask for. Transit, main avenue, shopping, restaurants...you name it. The front desk staff was nice and room was always clean. I stayed on the back end which was very... More

The room wasn't anything like I expected from the photos. The room was very basic with two single beds which we pushed together together to make a double. That being said, it was a great location which is only a short walk to the main areas and it was nice and clean! Room was serviced every two days with clean... More

my bus drivers refused a room because it was untidy: he bed was slept on, the floor was sticky, there were mould problems throughout the building and the rooms proposed rooms were filthy. Our choice was made after better experiences in 2012 and 2013, the disappointment was made on an objective basis. However, the way of coping with complaints made... More

25 Euros a night for a double bedroom with a balcony with great views, a round table and chairs? We had to go for this! Except there was no great view, round table, nor chairs - and I've never seen a smaller room. The worst part, however, were the caretakers at reception. Upon arrival, I paid my share and told... We stayed 4 nights in this property and rented a room with private bathroom. Overall, it was what we were looking for. A good price place to sleep after walking all over Barcelona. Location is a great aspect for this property. It is near a main avenue (Gran Vía) which is wonderful if you use the bus service from/to BCN... More

We stayed here 2 nights and the position was perfect. Extremely close to the metro station and at a walk distance from placa Catalunya. The rooms were ok, simple and clean. Bathrooms even if shared with other rooms were always clean. The only bad side was that we had to pay 1€ for the city map, which wasn't even clear,... More

The hotel is located right next to the Metro station. one stop away from La Rambla, where you could sufficiently foot, after a short walk along wide boulevards. The staff was nice. The room was also a fan. Room to the street but was very noisy at night was warm, but we could not open the balcony, since directly under... More

The hotel is clean and friendly with a great location. It's just round the corner from a metro station and a long straight main road off of which are the Rambla and roads to many of the attractions which makes navigation very easy. There was an en suit and small balcony with our room. It was a really lovely stay.... More

My friend and I stayed in Barcelona Rooms in June 2015 for 5 nights. Pros: - Very good location, walking distance from two big city squares, metro station just around the corner and lots of shops and cafes/restaurants in the area. Easy access from / to the airport. - Cheap. - Free WiFi. And that is basically all. Cons: -... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
