The B&B is in a spot on location, easy to walk to lots of places and metro. El Born interesting area to explore. Paco helpful on arrival. Apartment was clean, would just suggest that the bucket of water is removed/changed under the sink in bathroom and the bread for toast is put into a different container as goes a bit... More

Very nice and cute place just in the best part of Barcelona (El Born) and in walking distance to many sightseeing places and to the beach! The ideal place for couples! Paco is a very helpful and friendly host, who can give you some good advices for your trip! The rooms and the bathroom are not big but very clean... More

The location was totally fantastic. Best possible introduction to Barcelona and the old city. Poco was also great! He was really helpful and friendly. His advice and help was invaluable. The atmosphere of the neighborhood was great and when the balcony door was shut it was very quiet. Highly recommend

a cute place in an old Barrio house, a friendly host, wifi, breakfast was surpisingly rich. If you don't mind to share the bathroom, this is the best place to stay in Barcelona, everything is so near!

We, a couple, stayed 4 nights at La Princesa. The area this B&B is situated is most probably the best you can get, considering the shops, places to eat, architecture, parks and beach all at walking distance. Paco is really kind and helpful. We felt like at home here. The breakfast was really good! It was our second time staying... More

What a great place. You can walk everywhere and come back at all time with ur own key. The breakfast is simple, but enough. The rooms are cute and clean. I love the little balcony and even if its very central, its not noisy. The owner is nice and gave us helpful information.

Stayed there for a weekend. The location is brilliant - right in city centre, VERY lively, and only about 20 minutes to Barceloneta beach. The hotel keeper was really very friendly and also helped us with tourist advice as to where to go and how to get to places. The breakfast is rather very basic, but the coffee is nice.... More

For the money, this was a ok little place to stay. No air conditioning. Breakfast is a joke. I think she put out some cereal and coffee. There is very spotty WiFi. Location is awesome though. Walk to la rambla in 5 min. Barcelona is really easy to get around in, so not a major selling point. It was all... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
