Hotel is located a few minutes walk from Las Rambles. Great location. Staff are really friendly and helpful! They suggested great places to eat at night and best sites to visit. Hotel itself is very modern rooms are decorated in white and black. Rooms are all very clean with daily housekeeping and fresh towels etc. There is a roof top... More

I arrived in the hotel earlier the regular check in time and the receptionists were kind enough to search for me for a room to check in earlier. After only half an hour wait they've found a room. I was explained the hotel theme and it's facilities. The rooms are wide, white and with one space design. I particularly liked... More

Hotel was located well for accessing La Rambla and port area. Room design was very modern, and apart from a kettle, had everything we needed. Bathroom style was quirky, with powerful and spacious shower area. Area not the smartest but arrived very late at night and it was fine. Would stay here again.

Stayed here for the first time and loved it. Lots of character - rooms are very nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. The bartender Pedro went out of his way to be nice. We had drinks in the bar every night and the tapas was wonderful. I would book this hotel again next time I am in Barcelona. We all... More

First off, let me summarize the specifics of this hotel. Decent location, if a bit sketchy. Small rooms, no balconies, (or even openable windows), no a/c until they determine it's appropriate, no free breakfast, no view, no refrigerator, no coffee maker, no furniture with drawers, no closets to speak of, and a tv that was too complicated for us to... Stayed here recently for my first trip to Barcelona. Hotel was only 20 minutes taxi ride from the airport, down a little backstreet but taxi driver had no trouble getting us there. Got a warm welcome from the reception staff who told us a little about the theme of the hotel. It is an old theatre so hallways are very... More

Nice hotel with good location. Rooms are clean and pleasant. I would not class this as a family hotel but it is perfect for couples or groups. Some of the reviews said it was bit daunting to walk to hotel at night but didn't have any issues the hotel doors are open 24 hours and there is always someone at... More

I have recently visited this hotel after buying online through Qantas in Australia. I used this service because I thought they would have certain quality standards, I was mistaken.. The location to Barri Gotic area is ok but not the best. It seemed like the hotel was located in dodgey slum type area with many homeless sleeping next door and... More

Maybe it was just our room: but very difficult with those trendy taps to get the right balance between scalding hot and dead-cold water. Coukld be a hazard for older people? Also, windows unopenable. And w-fi very hit and miss.

Great hotel... it's kinda hidden away, however once you find it you'll be fine. Rooms... Modern and bed's comfy, Not much of a view from the window. shower great. ( The bathroom/shower is on full display, there is a curtain that you can use) Toilet is separate. Staff are all very friendly and will go out of there way to... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
