For a little money you will get one from the best location in the city. In few steps you will reach the city, the local bars and the port. The room was quiet and clean. The stuff was nice and get as some nice information about the local bars and pubs.

Located on the top floors of a building in the Gotic area of Barcelona Clean and functional rooms; Shared washrooms and a communal dining/TV watching area Very friendly reception staff They give you a bunch of keys to open - building gates, hostel door and your room door. The stairwell is wooden (if i remember right) and a little dark... More

It's a nice hostel in a good location (just a 3 minute walk till the metro station Jaume I) and just a few minutes walk till Las Ramblas and 1 metro station away from Barceloneta. I stayed there 8 nights and I didn't complain once... (except that in the building there is no lift and the suitcase was heavy). The... More

It is typical charming Spanish style, old vintage buidling at the old town, with small steps, last floor..but climbing with luggages can hurts ;) It is Hostel, with great location,so we didnt expected too much for that money-for this location wasn't expensive anyway. Rooms are too small, we ve been three, and we couldn't even walk in room :< there... More

Hostal Nitz BCN shares the same building space as Hostal Costal. I would recommend Hostal Nitz well over Hostal Costal simply because of the amount of cigarette smoke that poured out of Hostal Costal every time I walked past the door up the stairs to Hostal Nitz, but I say pack light because Nitz is up on the 6th floor... Location is terrific - only a few minutes walk from Las Ramblas. Staff are the friendliest I've ever encountered at a hostel and really want to make your stay enjoyable. The room itself was lovely, with two small balconies, plenty of storage space, very comfortable double bed, good lighting, useful mirrors and complementary mineral water. Nice modern decor. There are... More

This hostel was good on location and being The staff was ok but not very helpful about finding good places to find food. She will basically tell you to go out and find out for yourself. If you don't like workouts you should know that this place did not have an elevater and you will have to go up at... More

Great location (in the city center) but a bit difficult to find for the first time because it is in one narrow street surrounded with other narrow streets. You can get to some point by bus/metro/taxi...but than you have to walk and it's difficult if you have bags. There is no elevator. Rooms are clean and quiet, small but enough... More

Nice hostel to stay if u want to visit Barcelona... Excellent location inside the Gothic area. La Rambla is only 3/4 min and the near Metro Stations (Liceu or Jaune I) are just 6/7 min by foot. The hostel is clean and quiet, the rooms are small but enough for who just wants to rest. The bad thing is really... More

Perfect location! right in the middle of old gothic part of Barcelona. Secret network of narrow streets. romantic area. in minus: you can not get there by car or taxi so you have to carry on your bags to the hostel and more over up to the 4th or 5th floor (don't remember with one) as there is no elevator....
