The location of the hotel is great. Walking distance to almost everything must-visit. Very close to 2-3 metro station. Very friendly staff. The neighboorhood is quiet and the rooms too. Totally recommended! The only thing that i did not like was the quality of the bed. The matress was very low quality.

Sorry for late review...stayed in Sep! Gr8 hotel in a brilliant location. Cafes/restaurant surround it, excellent staff and good room/bed/bathroom. No complaints. Thank you for an excellent 3 night stay

A very friendly welcome, clean, well equipped and right within 10 minutes walk of anything you might want to see. The rooms are small but with plenty of room for a few days stay and very secure. The balcony is a nice touch for some fresh air and the staff very helpful and multilingual. Very fast wifi - up to... More

This place is more like a hotel than a hostel! The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and the room was immaculate. A cleaner would come in daily and replace towels and make the bed, something which we never expected but was lovely. We stayed in room 2 overlooking the street however they have excellent double glazing so noise was... More

If you go for sightseeing and do not care about room size and equipment inside, and do not want to spend to much you can pick this hostal. The location is just great. 5 minute walk to Plaça de Catalunya and La Rambla. There is a airport bus stop which can take you to the airport back and forth within... More

Small rooms but clean and good location. Helpful staff also. Good base to explore the city and good value too. Comfortable beds. Not luxury but good for hostel. Better than expected. Would visit again if on a budget.

My partner and I stayed here for a week in November 2013. We believed it to be a hotel at the time of booking, but it seems to be more akin to a hostel. Starting with the positives: the location is good, less than ten minutes walk from Placa de Catalunya/bus stop etc. Our room was a decent size and... More

The Hostel is very close to the city centre, just parallel to Paseo de Gracia and 10 mins walk to Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas. We arrived late at night and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful, no doubt, they helped us with anything we needed. The room was all we asked for, very clean and handy, the toilet... Although our room was small by Canadian standards it was very clean, comfortable beds, great toiletries and was the best location for our purposes - to sightsee while eating our way around Barcelona. Close to Placa de Catalunya where we arrived on the Aerobus from BCN, La Rambla's amazing Mercat de la Boqueria (fresh food market), the terrific shopping on... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
