Clean, Cozy & Comfortable. Great Location. Super helpful and lovely staff. Free Tea, Coffee & Water and can use the kitchen. Its more like a family environment than a hostel. I felt i was staying in a cozy bed & breakfast. Made new friends and had a lot of fun!

Close to Gaudi's houses and a short metro ride away from all other attractions. Friendly bars nearby and a lovely terrace in the hostel. Staff very friendly and helpful and computers available to use for free.

As all the other reviews have said, this hostel is fantastic! We had quite an ordeal getting there and arrived around 1am. We were greeted with a lovely, warm welcome. When we asked if there was anywhere open so we could get some food the owners made us toast with salami and cheese, and a cup of tea! Our double... More

I have never been made to feel so at home when staying at a hostel; the staff were extremely welcoming. You're right in the downtown when you stay here, and they will have days worth of suggested attractions. Also, they organized events to attend like dinner and fandango. A lovely place!

Summary: By far the best hostel I've ever stayed at (I've travelled significantly throughout the world). Rated #1 on trip advisor for a reason. I stayed in the 6 bed dorm room for 4 nights. The best feature are the staff - when I checked in, Alesia spent close to 50 minutes telling me exactly about all the attractions, the... More

Very clean hostal. Great central location with heating. lots of stairs but a lift was being installed whilst we were there which should be finished soon. Really friendly and helpful staff and very attentive to our needs. Shower was small with no shelf to put shampoo etc. Separate toilet and basin which was good and a kitchen to share between... More

We stayed for 4 nights and liked this place a lot. It was a bit hard to find at first, since it's located in an older building with no signs. A very nice girl welcomed us immediately by offering tea or coffee. The check-in went smoothly, the receptionist explained us everything in detailes and gave us a few recommendations about... More

Everything positive :) Spacious and clean room, beds with individual power plugs and lights. Fantastic common area, lovely terrace, well equipped kitchen. The girls at the reception and the owners are fantastic. They really know the city and can give you tons of useful information. They organize walking tours and salsa night. By far one of the best hostels :)

Staff makes real effort to get people together. First night, they organized a paella dinner at a local restaurant along with suggesting a flamenco performance. Ended up hanging out with the same people for a while. Nice accommodations: hot showers, clean bathrooms, and plenty of space in the dorms. Fast WiFi and free coffee/tea. Convenient location for exploring the town.... More

I stayed here for 5 nights and absolutely love this place. Instantly felt welcome with awesome staff who are very friendly and caring, and even hung out with us! Modern clean interiors, love the bathrooms. It's situated in a central location, 5 min from Passeig de Gracia and close to all the buses and metro stations, but it's so central... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
