Nice hotel although quite standard. Breakfast was although very good and had a large variety of frequently changing options. The location was not as good as thought it would and was still a 20-30min walk to the Ramblas which during August was toooooo hot!!!!!! Beach accessible by a long walk or use of tube/buses. Rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious.... More

We stayed here for 4 nights after a cruise. The plus points were the friendly and helpful staff, varied and tasty buffet breakfast, pool, albeit small, it was ideal to relax at after a day spent walking round Barcelona, and the hotel is generally quite modern and seems to have been recently upgraded. The room is fairly basic, although the... More

We loved this hotel! Pros: - 3 min walk to Placa Catalunya, where you can grab city tour buses - staff very helpful and accommodating - room clean and breakfast buffet worth the 10 euros Cons: - double bed is small for two people - the modern design of the hotel doesn't give much privacy between the washroom and bed

We stayed here for a few nights. Perfect walking distance to the center of everything in Barcelona! Beautiful bathroom and immaculate room. Great customer service. The lunch was nothing to write home about and would recommend finding a small restaurant outside of the hotel. Also the pool and pool area are quite small (8 chairs maybe).

We stayed at this property for 6 nights prior to a cruise. We were welcomed with a glass of cava on arrival and provided with maps and information on the area. The staff were extremely helpful and generous in answering my many daily questions. The hotel was within easy walking distance from Catalunya Place and Las Ramblas and the many... More

We have just returned from a 3 night stay in Barcelona and this hotel was lovely. The staff are fantastic and It's in a great location. We paid a little extra for a superior room which gives a you private terrace with sun loungers. Well worth the extra.

This hotel is situated on a side street a ten minute walk from the main city centre square at the top of the infamous Rambles 1km long market street. This area also being the main start and finish point of the city bus tours that are highly recommended. The hotel is clean and the rooms are adequately sized and comfortable with... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
