Friendly hostel, family atmosphere and communal dinner around the table. There are lockers to secure your stuff in the room. Nice views and wifi on the roof terrace. In my opinion however it's very very basic and not very comfortable and there are other places even cheaper in Barcelona like Twenty two that are better

It is an awesome atmosphere for meeting people. The facilities are nice, the outdoor terrace is great and the location is also a plus. I know that my stay in... More

Hostel One Sants is an incredible hostel for youth travelers. The free dinners insist on conversation between the guests, the staff is very helpful and on one night, even led us all out to the city center for a night at a bar. The other people staying in the hostel were brilliant as well. If you want great conversations, good... More

We only had one night in barcelona, and we booked a four share. When we arrived we met a really friendly girl who showed us some basics on the map, gave us the password for wifi, etc. It was mid february, so the hostel only had about 15 people in it total. We ended up havin the 4 share to... More

Very friendly hostel with free communal dinner around the table and daily happy cake. It has a family atmosphere, is very welcoming, close to public transport, and clean. I cannot say enough good things about this hostel. Between the friendly staff, yoga on the roof, and Linda's happy cake... I could stay at hostel one sants forever. Free dinner every night creates a feeling of community amongst the travelers, which is always a plus! I could go on forever, go to this hostel if you want a vibrant... More

I would totally recommend this hostel! It was a great atmosphere, great staff, it was clean and safety...and for those who wanted to sleep..in the rooms was pretty silent. Besides that, every evening they are preparing free dinner for everybody (delicious food!) and than different classes. We go sangria and mojito class. :D

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hostel One Sants is not just a hostel. It's a place where you are gonna feel the same comfort and liberty as if you were in your own home, but in Barcelona! And you will get free dinner! We have rooms for two, three, four, and six people. All the rooms are accessible by elevator. Toilets and showers are near every room. We also have free internet access, as well as Wi-Fi for your personal laptop. There is no curfew, so you can come and go 24 hours per day as you please. We keep the hostel very clean and we can provide you with free lockers, free luggage storage until 12pm, free sheets and blankets, free coffee, tea sugar, salt, oil and more. There is also towels and wash-and-dry laundry service.Breakfast is 2.50€ and served from 8.30am until 11.30am. We charge for breakfast so we can afford to run all the free activities instead. What makes us so great? It is the parties and barbecues on the terrace, where you can lay down and enjoy the Mediterranean sun while you relax in the chill-out area or on the sun chairs chatting with the other guests. It is the massive and fully equipped 24hr kitchen where we make dinners all together and also make huge mojitos, sangrias and caipirinhas almost every night. It is the more private common area where you can be loud all night long playing pool, watching a movie or drinking until you pass out. It is an easy place to meet people as we get the guests together to go to the beach or to the park and, at night, we have activities and take you all out to the best bars, pubs, and discos in town. All free of charge! Our staff is a very fun multi-national group who speak English, Spanish, Catalan (of course), Portuguese and a bit of Italian and French, too. We love to make parties with you, tell you all the stories of Barcelona and show you the best spots in town. ... more   less
