We got this 3 day trip on a GoGroopie surprise deal so hadn't expected the fabulous quality that we were presented with. We upgraded to a superior room as a treat to ourselves and weren't disappointed. We followed another Trip Advisor Reviewer's directions and got the airport bus and metro to arrive at the hotel. The Airport bus was quick... More

It was a wonderful, impressive weekend .... I felt pampered already three days before my trip, when I received an e-mail from Beatriz, offering her help and knowledge to make my three days stay most meaningful and special. And, at my arrival, few hours before the beginning of check-in, mr J. @ the reception (sorry, I forgot his name, but... More

We decided to go back to Barcelona for a second year running and never even considered staying anywhere else. Good for getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre but only a few minutes’ walk to the Metro and close to the beach for evening strolls but with plenty of good local restaurants close by. Being such... More

The hotel overlooks the cemetery towards the sea. On the side that we were on, it overlooked apartment blocks. This hotel was booked as part of a deal before a cruise. When we arrived the staff were being trained on a new computer system. The booking in took a while. We noticed a note on the reception desk that you... More

Stayed at Hotel 4 as part of a business meeting, where we had conference in the hotel. Hotel is simple for a 4*, none of the very "luxury", but has everything, is clean, complete and has a friendly helpful staff. Rooms a large, elevators slow. There is a breakfast room where they serve a decent, complete breakfast - only thing... More

The hotel located in very convenience location which just need to take taxi about 10 minutes to reach down town and shopping area. The taxi cost about Euro 10 to 12. Space of room consider large and clean with modern design. The only weakness is small cafeteria provided lack of selection breakfast choice and limited seat.

Stayed here post cruise 22-24 November. Hotel is in a residential/commercial area. Metro station Llacuna approx 5 min walk away, Barcelona city 5 stops away, you are closer to the beach maybe 10 minute walk. There's a MacDonalds circa 7 minute walk towards the beach. Rooms were large, fresh & spacious, we had a double shower unit, my sister had... More

Hotel clean and tidy. Expensive for tea and coffee as no facilities in the rooms. Wifi excellent. A rather "portly" man behind the front desk talked me into buying tickets for the hop on hop off bus doing the city tours, he marked on the map where we could get on the bus. After waiting over an hour for the... More

Very nice hotel, clean and with good rooms. Wifi in the whole hotel works good. Breakfast was also good, but not extraordinary. Everything seems new. Friendly staff. Located 500m from metro station, which takes you to downtown Barcelona in 3-4 stops (10 min).

Price well worth. Only stayed a night. No complaint of the hotel or service. Location made me feel uncomfortable, most especially at night as a female walking from metro station to the hotel. No nearby eateries. Would not stay again only because of location. If with a group or you have your own transport then this is a very reasonably... More

Staying in Poblenou

Neighborhood Profile
The futuristic Agbar Tower stands out from Barcelona's skyline in Poblenou. It is no coincidence then that this area of town is the newly crowned technological park of the city, its own mini Silicon Valley containing a tech incubator (Barcelona Activa) as well as a host of local and international high tech companies. To accommodate the onrush of new residents and workers, the area of Poblenou has seen a surge of activity in new high-rise residential buildings and two top-notch shopping centers catering to everyone's need. The ambiance of this area is calmer than the city center and the beautifully relaxing Bogatell Beach, popular with locals, is just a handful of blocks away.
