From the moment we stepped out from the metro (which was right beneath the hotel) we understood that we made the right choice. The location of the hotel is unbeatable. Placa Cataluna and La Rambla was only 10 minutes on foot as well as La Sagrada Familia. The street, Passeig de Gracia, is majestic, and very enjoy to walk by.... More

I booked this hotel as I was arriving in Barcelona and in within an hour I was sitting in a terraza enjoying a fantastic view. This place is super clean, tidy and organised. The receptionist and all staff were super friendly and flexible and allowed us to change our rooms for a better view. One of the best sleeps of... More

The hotel is well placed in an expensive area of the city and offers exceptional value - especially if booked online. Clean, spacious room with an impeccable bathroom ensuite. Helpful staff, free wifi, nothing to complain about.

Perfect location, very easy to get from the airpot and to walk around. Apartment is lovely, we found it very difficult though to locate due to lack of proper descriptions and staff not really being able to speak English.

I stayed 3 times in this hotel (January 2011, April 2012, October 2012). Every time I was amazed by the quality of price and service. When I plan a short stay in Barcelona it's the first hotel I check for availability. It is located in the heart of Barcelona, price is more than affordable and it is superbly clean. It's... More

This hotel is expected of its 1 star status. Toilet had problems flushing and bathroom had no working ventilation. No shampoo or shower gel. Door had gap could hear everything in the hallway. Super old furniture. Bed and pillows were good however, 2 per bed. No aircon as it is centralized and they are bent on saving electricity. We were... More

My husband and I were vacationing to Spain, 4 nights in Barcelona. We picked this "hotel" from the website description and images. NOT what we expected. 2 single beds pushed together, quite minimal in comfort as was the whole room. We actually asked to change rooms after the lights in the first did not work. The second room not much... More

Stayed here for two nights. It is a good hotel but in overall would not stay here again. Even though it says that hotel was refurbished recently (and is still under refurbishment in some parts), we were given an old room. It looked very dark, scruffy and dated! Bathroom was in quite sad condition... Room had a balcony which was... More

This wasn't my first choice. I received a call the day before my trip and was notified by the hotel a previously book they had to cancel my reservation because of water damages. They made me one with this hotel for a lower rate than what I was going to pay. Is it worth £88/night? Probably not. It is not... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
