My partner and I stayed on the first-floor apartment with our 2 daughters. The hotel is extremely well located between Port Vell, the beach, El Born and the Barri Gòtic. The apartment is very comfortable, we got offered a discount at the restaurant where we had our greatest dinner in Barcelona.

My wife and I started and ended our recent vacation in Spain with weekends in Barcelona and we stayed at La Casa De Les Lletres both times. I hadn't visited Barcelona before, and it was 30 years since my wife was last there, so we were looking for somewhere comfortable and located close to the historic Gothic district of the... More

Nasty smell in the hallways, heavy entrance door that is difficult to open, rude managers trying to overcharge and noisy street just a few of the issues we faced staying at this place. So far it has been the worst experience we had traveling to Europe. Counting few of the issues it was very hard to find parking, there was... More

I stayed in the first floor apartment dedicated to Jaime Gil de Biedma, a Barcelona poet of the 1950's. It was very comfortable with all the amenities you need for a short stay (including tumble dryer - it was quite wet for a couple of days). In Born and the surrounding area you will find loads of shops, including supermarkets,... More

We didn't want to stay in a hotel because we have a three year old boy and knew we could be turning in early and wanted the extra freedom of an apartment. This was an excellent choice - local to everything, spacious enough, clean and all the amenities we needed for a very comfortable long weekend. Perfect and I intend... More

We stayed 1 night prior to boarding a cruise in Barcelona. We got there early and they allowed us to keep our big and full suitcases in the office across the square until the apartment was ready at 3pm. There is a lift but it's between floors so you do have to go up a few stairs to get to... More

La Casa de les Lletres made our stay in Barcelona a very enjoyable one. After a long day of touring the city, it was such a relief to come back to the cozy studio apartment they provided for us. It had amazing views, and was very accommodating for the 3 of us. The price was tremendously reasonable for the 2... More

Nice and clean apartment situated near Barceloneta. We selpt very well there for 2 days, even the sofabed was soft and comfy. We loved the bath room with amenities from Rituals. There was a Nespresso machine who made our day. Very good service and easy ti check inn and out. We recomend this place:)

Stopped here for 1 night on our 3 night trip to Barcelona. Hotel arranged for us to be picked up from airport for 40 euros. Cost us 37 euros coming back from other hotel we stopped at so well worth organising this as less hassle when arriving at the airport. Reception was in the restaurant underneath apartments and the lady... More

This was a great hotel and very accessible by cab or foot. We were able to wander through the Barri Gotic district and easily access a cab for all other major sites. We were with our 4 year old and 6 year old, so we enjoyed having separate bedrooms with comfortable beds for all of us. The kitchens helped for... More
