We stayed in the first floor apartment and it was perfect for us. The apartment was gorgeous and big enough for a family of four (there was a sofa bed for the kids). The shower was excellent. The location in Barri Gothique was excellent and there were plenty of restaurants close by. Unfortunately we weren't able to test the restaurant... More

Situated on the corner of the Gothic quarter and El Born these apartments are perfectly located. The apartment its self is spacious and comfortable. It has a well stocked kitchen with large living/dining area. There is plenty of wardrobe space. Bedroom is cumfortable and quiet. Bathroom was clean with nice hot shower. The cafe below serves good coffee.

Perfect location, amazing staff, cozy apartments and tasty food. Nice view from the apartment windows. La casa de les lletres is near the port. Barri gotic is only 350 metres away! The best place to stay in Barcelona! I recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at La Casa de Les Lletres. The location is excellent, so you can easily walk to many of Barcelona's attractions, such as La Rambla, the Zoo and the beach. There are also plenty of places to eat close by. The only criticism of our apartment was the bathroom. They had made ingenious use of limited... More

Perfect location, excellent food in the neat café/restaurant downstairs. Clean, fresh designapartment with a twist of luxury. We'll be back for sure. Nice and friendly staff - easy access to public transportation.

Gorgeous, spacious apartment. Great location. Very clean and modern. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They run a wonderful business with the apartments and restaurants. My family did not want to leave!

My partner and I stayed on the first-floor apartment with our 2 daughters. The hotel is extremely well located between Port Vell, the beach, El Born and the Barri Gòtic. The apartment is very comfortable, we got offered a discount at the restaurant where we had our greatest dinner in Barcelona.

My wife and I started and ended our recent vacation in Spain with weekends in Barcelona and we stayed at La Casa De Les Lletres both times. I hadn't visited Barcelona before, and it was 30 years since my wife was last there, so we were looking for somewhere comfortable and located close to the historic Gothic district of the... More

Nasty smell in the hallways, heavy entrance door that is difficult to open, rude managers trying to overcharge and noisy street just a few of the issues we faced staying at this place. So far it has been the worst experience we had traveling to Europe. Counting few of the issues it was very hard to find parking, there was... More

I stayed in the first floor apartment dedicated to Jaime Gil de Biedma, a Barcelona poet of the 1950's. It was very comfortable with all the amenities you need for a short stay (including tumble dryer - it was quite wet for a couple of days). In Born and the surrounding area you will find loads of shops, including supermarkets,... More

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
