The hotel room was not that we have seen on the pictures shown on the internet. It was a lot worse. The toilet was awful. Staff was nice, but did not understand even english numbers... Our package involved balcony, but there was none. Good things were that room were cleaned every day and localization of hotel was great.

Great central location near to the metro station Parallel, but very noisy. We arrived there on Saturday noght and there were crowds of people in front of cabaret El Molino. There were some problems with accommodation, the receptionist did not speak English, but generally staff was nice and helpful. We were offered the corner room with balcony oriented to the... More

I ve tthere for 4 days in june 2015. People were nice and tried to be helpful but they barely spoke english, which made it difficult to communicate. The whole building, the rooms and baths were very dirty, especialy for women. The only good thing was the location, which wasnt enough compared to the bad hygiene enviroment

Pension Iniesta is with a great location. Yes, it may be a little bit noisy, but it wasn't such a big problem for me. The room and bathroom were clean and nice. The staff is very kind and helpful. If I come to Barcelona again, I'll definitely use the same place because it's a very good value for the money.

The hotel is very basic and old fashioned but very clean and comfortable. The room we had with a private bathroom was huge and roomy with a comfortable bed - very welcome after a tiring day walking! We even had a balcony! The location is ideal, you can walk everywhere that's fairly close by and there is a metro just... More

To be honest, was not the best experience that i ever had. But being by myself, i had all the things i needed. A bed to sleep on, a hot shower and a roof over the head. Good: The pension is very nice placed. At 10 minutes walking from Les Rambles. Very near the buses and metro. The price is... More

Staying in Montjuic

Neighborhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colorful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
