The hotel had a perfect location! The location were near La Rambla , the bus station to the airport. We stayed there for 3 nights. It was a simple room. Shared the kitchen and bathroom. The staff had a hard time understanding and speaking English.

My friend and I went to Barcelona for 4 nights. The hostel was perfect. We had a twin room with a shared bathroom. Everything was clean. The only thing I would moan about is the bathroom door would get stuck, which scared me the first time I used the bathroom, but I worked out a technique to open it. The... More

All they have is location. When I book a hostel I at least expect a small shared kitchenette, where you can store water in a fridge and maybe make a cup of coffee, there is nothing like that. No living room or common room or anything like that, just a bench in the hall. It´s very small, you´ll most likely... More

basic place. No lift, steep staircase. Shared bathroom and the bath (small one) did not drain properly. On the plus side: five mins walk from Catalunya and €22 a night. So you'll not get much, and you can hear noise in the corridors, but hey, for that price, it'll do. Use again? Wouldn't rule it out, but wouldn't book it... More

This was my first time staying in a hostel and for the cheap price we paid, I really wasn't sure what to expect. There were three of us sharing a triple room (one double and one single bed) with shared bathroom facilities. The bathrooms were great - there were about six rooms on our floor but we never had to... The location of the hostel is excellent. It is only a 2 minute walk from the famous La Ramba and 5 minute walk from bus to airport. You can easily get to all the sightseeing. The room was basic but very clean. Bathroom is shared but kept clean. Staff were very pleasant. Would definitely stay here again for the excellent... More

The location of the hostel is excellent, is only for 2 minute walk from the famous La Ramba and 5 minute walk from metro station. You can easily get to all the sightseeing. The room was tiny but clean and nice. Bathroom is shared but kept clean. There are just some rooms in the hostel and two bathrooms so no... More

We were initially satisfied with our accommodation. Although, the room was tiny. It seemed clean. The same about the shared bathroom facilities. Nonetheless, we got a very good deal: 30 euros per night for a triple room. Actually, it wasn' t the price that appealed to me, but the central position: Santa Anna street, situated between Las Ramblas and Portal... More

I have both type of experiences with this hostel. When I first arrived I received a tiney room, with no window (no - sorry - there was one window opening into another room of the building so not access to any fresh air). The room was hot and claustrophobic - basically majority of the night I wanted to jump into... More

Staying in Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
