I paid around 120 euros for 3 nights on this hotel in august and this was very good. The Montbau metro station (L3 - to city center) is at 600 m from hotel and Horta metro station (L5 - to Sagrada Familia) is at 800 m. The gate to the hotel is at 15 number and must intercom call (press... More

Looking for a cheap place in Barcelona, I found this residence where I had really a good experience. It's a religious complex, used mainly by groups, school or workshops, that offers simple accommodations with the basic comforts. The location is very nice, it's in a residential neighbourhood of the higher part of the town, something like 10 minutes away from... More

Rich breakfast in antique villa, wonderful garden, private bath, free WiFi, 5-7 min walking to metro station Montbau. No refrigerator, no conditioner, no soundproof, noise of kids in the morning, little rooms. You have to explore hotel neighborhood by Google street view, then you will reach the hotel even in night, like me.

The room was small, but clean. the mattresses were not to confortable. The garden was very nice, but the kids from the school that was there were kind of noisy in the morning. The breakfast was almost the same everyday, we didn't like it so much.. it was a very cheap one.

Well if you're not going to spend much time in the room...I think it is worth the money. Pros: wonderful, large, nicely (antique) decorated garden, part of the property; good price, nice breakfast, clean room, 5 walking minutes to nearest metro station Cons: some of the staff was not very friendly, awful WiFi connection (abandon any hope of using WiFi... This is a student residence at best. However, there is no laundry on site. I asked 2 different staff members if there was anywhere nearby to do laundry and was pointed in 2 different directions - neither one was right. No real attractions nearby and restaurant selection in the area minimal at best. 40+ euros cab fare to airport depending... More

My husband and I stayed at the Residencia Salesiana Marti-Codolar during October 2014. It was an enjoyable stay. The rooms were decent - very basic with flimsy beds. The gardens on the property are really beautiful. The hotel is a good distance away from the city center and all the touristy spots.

It is a budget hotel, don`t expect too much, but at least you have en suite bathroom and breakfast for the same money compering with other hotels. The hotel is situated in the outskirt of the city,20 minutes from the Pl.Catalunya by underground. The underground station is 5 minutes from the hotel. The hotel is quiet. It has a beautiful rustic garden. It looks like an... You can reach the city center in 20 min if you take the metro (metro station is about 5 min walk) Food is average. The only desert is fruit or yogurt. The only super market I could find nearby was a very tiny one with very poor choice. You better go to Super Mercado in city center!
