Central location that allowed us to see everything from Las Ramblas, to the beaches and to the Born district. Ask for room 610 because it has a balcony with an amazing view. We thought the breakfast was great. I know there were bad reviews but here is the honest truth... If you are seeking an American-style breakfast then you will... More

We picked this hotel for its location and it turned out even better than we thought! Perfect distance between the main part of the Gothic Quarter and the water front. The hotel itself was very clean and full of character. Our room had huge, gorgeous windows that were wonderful in the morning. The lobby bar never seemed to be open,... More

The Hotel is at an ideal location: It is close to the port, Ramblas, Plaza Catalunya and the old town. Everything is just steps away. We stayed one night after our cruise. The room is quite nice. The shower was very pleasant with the black stones cemented to the base and a ceiling shower. There was no hair dryer or... More

My sister and I stayed at this hotel for 4 days and it was really sweet, clean and the service was good. Breakfast was a bit disappointing but the perfect location of the hotel is making up for it. Also the staff is very helpful with searching for sites and addresses. Highly recommended only I would skip breakfast.

We went to the hotel on DEC 14 till the 18th. We read here that the lower hotel floors can be a bit load because of the metro and because of the load and main street, so , after reading that we (a week before our vacation) sent a mail to the hotel and asked for a high floor room... More

Location, accommodations and price were the best we have had in 3 stays in Barcelona! Beautiful view from the top floor! Walked to pier and to La Rambla. Staff extremely helpful! Very well priced for the supreme location!

This is a fairly small hotel but in a really great position on a street running just about parralel to Las Ramblas, and within easy walking distance of the gothic cathedral and the marina. Staying in Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
