I booked this place kind of last minute not really knowing what to expect when we turned up. We were pleasantly surprised when we did thought. It is basic, yes but for the money you can't really complain. We had a shard bathroom but had it pretty much to ourselves. Our bedding and towels were changed every day and all... More

We got stuck in Barcelona because of strike action by French air traffic controllers. We were looking for something cheap :) and it was.. Close to Plaça d'Espanya (5 min walk). Noisy neighbours talking on hallway at 6am ? queued to shared bathroom? We had our own in room but it wasn't clean.. (pubic hairs on the floor)

The location is very good, 5 minutes away from the airport shuttle bus in Plaza Espanya and the Sants train station. They were generous with me, they kept my luggage for 4 days until I went to Granada and came back again to Barcelona. They are basic yes but also their prices are good, my only problem was that they... More

Words cannot describe what a grim experience this is. Dirty bathrooms, dangerous stairwells, poor wifi and thin walls. Plus even morning you feel like you want to scrub yourself with a rock you are so itchy. Avoid.

Great location for the Plaza Espanya and the Sants train station. Older building, but kept pretty tidy. Ok for the money, definetly not the best value we came across in Spain. Friendly helpful staff, though the reception is across the road.

Really nice people working in the hostal but spanish is useful. Near transportation and plaza españa with all montjuic attractions. It was nice to stay in a quiet zone, we've always stayed near la rambla, although there were plenty of bars and restaurants. really convenient to have sant train station and plaza españa so near because airport buses depart from there.In... I stayed in Hostal Bejar on a very short business trip, I wanted somewhere quiet, clean and cheap and that is exactly what I got. It is perfectly situated for Plaza España. It is very basic (no TV, which is actually quite nice!) but fine for a short stay...the beds are very comfortable, I slept really well!

I've stayed at hostal Bejar last April with 2 friends and the place although pretty basic was extremely clean and very well situated. It took us 2 minutes to get to Plaza Espana but since the hostel it's not on the main boulevard it was really quiet at night and we had no trouble with noise. The cleaning lady came... More
