Very poor conditions specially in the toilets/bathrooms (the sliding door was hanging off its' place, filthy floors etc. I slept in a dorm and the room was very modest, but tolerable. Very cheap, the only positive thing about the place. If you travel cheap with a bunch of friends and party a lot and don't need too posh acommodation, this... More

So this review is all over the place, and not quite sure where to begin. When I travel, I kind of a land in one place and then figure out where I am going to stay. I had four hostels in mind for Barcelona as I was journeying my way there. The thing is my phone only works on wifi... More

location, location, location! price value, price value, price value! Even cheaper, if you just walk in ok, service is poor and breakfast is a joke But it's fine for being a cheap hostel. What do you expect?

This place is really terrible and I would not recommend it to anyone. The place was quite dirty and messy. The bathrooms and the toilets were also quite dirty. Unfortunately there was not any hot water and there were simply notes on doors apologizing about the problem. However the staff was quite nice and friendly. The location is also good.

I would never recommend a place like that. I made a reservation 4 months before my arrival and when I got there, my room was not what I had booked. The place is dirty, noisy and the breakfast wich is supposed to be included, is a pigs-meal in a dirty kitchen. Don't ever go there. There are so much better... More

Absolute Dump. Do not visit. 3/4 showers did not work. Other shower had was blocked, and also had wee at the bottom. No pillows on arrival. Walls/floors disgraceful. Stayed in 10 hostels in the past few weeks. Worst so far. Not very expensive but not worth 50p a night.

There's not much to say about this hostel as the price/night says it all. Thin mattresses, grotty walls, missing floorboards... It was all as expected. The room smelled really damp and mouldy everytime we'd come back from a day out and had shut the windows to prevent theft, but opening them again solved the problem. As a room of 4,... More

When arrived in our room we found very dirty matresses. Blood and other undefined stains on it, it didn't feel very safe to lie on it. Next day we asked for another room, had to wait for one more day to get it. The other room also had stains on the matress but no blood this time, so a little... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
