If you want to stay at an b&b in Barcelona this is the place. It's almost like a 4 stars hotel because everything is new, clean the staff is great and they treat you with respect. Casa Dover is situated in an old building with beatifull marbel and a wooden elevator. Sagrada Familia is very close about 10 min walk... More

We stayed at the Casa Dover for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the whole place had a relaxed and homely feel. The suite itself was very spacious and had lots of character. Although it is very much down to personal preference, we found the bed extremely comfortable! We particularly enjoyed... More

Stayed for 4 days. The apartment served the needs of what i needed. There were a few things that were broken that needed addressing but nothing to preoccupy my self with. the kitchen and the washing machine was a good bonus to have, the only minus on it was that they don't provide you with laundry detergent as they do... We booked this B&B after reading positive comments on Tripadvisor and Booking.com. Our room, one of the 2 suits, was spacious and nicely furnitured. Although we can agree with some comments that the walls are very thin: e.g. when breakfast is prepared at 7.30 AM, you sometimes don't need an alarm clock... The breakfast contains various food, yet during our... More

The location was perfect (10 mins from Sagrada Familia, 10 mins from Casa Mila and Casa Battlo and 5 mins from Metro Station Verdaguer by foot). The staff was very friendly and helpful, we even got "early breakfast" (or take-away breakfast) because our plane left very early. Breakfast was various, fresh, delicious and enough. Our room was little, but good... More

We stayed at Casa Dover B&B - a safe and a very strategic location. If you have 3 days in Barcelona - you can walk from there to all the major sights and see them all and have plenty of time left for your dinners and cultural activities. That what we did. The B&B included a breakfast. So we would... More

We really loved this boutique hotel on the edge of Gracia. Beautifully designed and decorated, it's like an oversized apartment on the first floor of a corner building. We stayed in room 2 (there are 7) and believe this was the largest room, overlooking the street. There was a little traffic noise in the night as there are traffic lights... More

Ridiculous situation at 1800 as we arrived to be told they had double booked us. Offered us another apartment in a residential are on the outskirts ....not what we wanted as the only eateries were fast food joints in a shopping mall. We rebooked with last minute.com and could only get into a 5 star hotel the escapade cost me... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
