Nice and clean Hotel, next of La Rambla road. Quiet hotel with very good breakfast. Staff helped us with whatever activities we wanted to do or info we wanted about the area. They even booked tickets for us.

Nice, clean and quiet hotel, centrally located close to market, shops and various attractions within walking distance. Plenty of restaurants in the vicinity as well. Ideal location since you can have a stroll at La Ramblas in the evening if you want to stay close to the hotel. Highly recommended!!

A nice and clean hotel with a perfect location right next to La Rambla. This made the hotel very lucrative for us as a family of four. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but found different places in the city. This hotels location is perfect. 10 meters from the entreance is one of the small sidewalk up to... More

Excellent hotel. Close to La Rambla, but very quiet. The breakfast was very good and the hotel staff friendly. The romms were small but nice and clean.I recommend this hotel if you want to explore Barcelona.

Not sure what all the bad comments are about because I had a brilliant stay! Easy to reach from the airport (taxi or metro), there is a metro station across the road, an amazing food market down the side of the hotel (could see it from my room, considered one of the best food markets in the world I read... I usually go for the following: 1. Budget friendly (sometimes a little above it) 2. Accessible to the places I want to visit 3. Very secure 4. Clean 5. Spacious 6. Good wifi connection And this hotel captured everything I required. But could've been better if the staff were a little bit more friendly. They seldom greet. They'll greet if... More

This hotel was in an area that was perfect for walking around Las Ramblas and eating and shopping. Clean place with breakfast if you want it for 10.00 each. The staff are very friendly and helpful as well.I rated low on the beds because they were extra firm and I like not so firm beds

A very comfortable hotel in an excellent location. Good value for money. Within a stone's throw of the Ramblas and the Boqueria market. Reception staff couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely be returning to Barcelona in the near future and will book the Hesperia Ramblas again.

We stayed at Hesperia for 3 nights this mid-May. The hotel is nicely located near the Rambalas street and a few minute walk from the Liceu metro station. The room was a bit small and with large luggage it took some acrobatics to get around the room. The only con we had was that the shower door didnt close all... More

Stayed for 4 nights and couldnt wait to be out of the room. Great location, friendly and accomdating staff, nice lobby but the room was just too small. We only had two suitcases with us but still managed to trip over them trying to move around. If I was going back to Barcelona I would look elsewhere as its such... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
