This hotel is perfect for a few days in Barcelona. Clean, tidy and just metres from the underground or walk just down the bottom of the street and your on the Rambla. Receptionist was lovely and very helpful and I can't find anything negative to say about our stay for two nights. Brilliant value for money. Would definitely recommend this... More

We stayed as part of a city break deal with BA. Location is great but the room was very basic and the level of customer service poor. It took 30 minutes to get checked in, the receptionist was very slow indeed and we were waiting behind another couple. This is annoying when you just want to get into your room... More

We stayed here as part of a city break with BA. It's a nice, clean and basic hotel in the heart of Barcelona. Situated minutes from La Rambla and several metro stations. It is a great location if you are interested in exploring the city and being close to the centre. Lots of places to see and things to do... More

Hired a front rom woth view through booking.com. Then got a 4th floor rrom wgere the front windows were about 1/4 the size promised, e.g. money wasted. The bed was positioned in front of the main window, backside first. View on my feet.... Outside noise is considerable: location is busy. Plus: above metro-stairs on line 1, close to catalunya (Aerobus)... More

We came here as part of a package deal city break through British Airways as just somewhere to lay our heads as we were keen to be out exploring. It certainly served it's purpose. Location wise it's fantastic, just a 5 minute walk from La Rambla in the heart of the gothic quarter. However if you're a light sleeper I'd... More

I stayed there for 3 nights, and I'm willing to go back there ! It's clean, the toilets and bath are really clean. 3 to 5 minutes away to the Ramblas and to placa catalunya. The rooms are small tho, but good enough for a short stay. The tour buses are 1 minutes away from the hotel (blue line) and... More

We had to stay on Barcelona for the night, so we booked at the last minute and were well surprised when we arrived at the ATH Citypark, we've been warmly welcomed and the bedroom was nice and very clean. Sweet night in Barcelona's heart, great!

This is a wonderful location for staying whilst in Barcelona, it is 100m from Place de Catalunya, from where you can catch all buses around the city, and to and from the airport. It is the start of las Rambla and is very close to the Gothic quarter. So if you are intending to be out and about 12 hours... More

The hotel had an amazing location and free wifi. However, the wifi would run slow and/or stop. They had to reset the servers three times. The room was very basic. This location was perfect for walking to Las Ramblas or catching a bus to Playa Barcelonet. Bus to the airport stopped 100 ft from the hotel door. Great for young... More

We picked this hotel solely for its central location and for that it was excellent and decently priced. It was a short walk from the Place de Catalunya and La Rambla, which was great for easy access to the main tourist attractions and the best dining in El Barri Gotic. As for the actual hotel, however, we were quite disappointed... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
