We booked this apartment for 7 nights during Sonar music festival. There was enough room for 5 persons (The apartment was clean. It has 3 bedrooms, living + kitchen and 2 bathrooms, 1 with bathtube). Late check-out was possible for 30 EUR (left apartment at 16:00). Situated at walking distance from Rambla, Placa de les Drassanes, Placa Espanya and not... More

Well-managed evening reception by the friendly and helpful Patrizia. A very clean and comfortable apartment with more facilities than we really needed for our short stay but well worth about £30 a night each for the indepence it gave us - and only 1/2 mile walk tLa Rambla too. We'd recommend it anyone - and we'd go back ourselves!

Reasonably spacious apartment for 5 persons, very near to Placa Espanya. Good and lively neighborhood , not too touristic but fairly close to the old port and Placa Catalunya. Apartment is well equipped, but has a simple Ikea like style. Real disadvantage is the poor quality of the beds, double bed in the master bedroom far too soft, with a... More

Very easy to book and communicate with apartment. Although it is a mobile reception was met at the apartment exactly on time. Friendly and helpful. Apartment itself was clean, tidy, comfortable and had everything we needed and more. Is in what feels like a Spanish residential area but all those around, passes by, bar staff and shop keepers are all... More

The location is very friendly: close to the center, sea and means of communication (metro, buses, even airport). In the neighborhood a lot of tapas bars, restaurants and shops. Apartment have a good equipment, excellent for 6 person. Maybe Wifi should work better, but... stay in Barcelona is more important than net ;) Probably I will return to the same... More

The location is in a very good place, near all commodities and facilities. The sound insulation is not good and it's could be a problem. Employes where very very kind with us and for the checking it was in french for us, in english for an other family... It is a perfect location to visit Barcelona with your family.

Great location because neighborhood is quiet and nice and in the meantime metro station and bus stations are nearby so you can get easily to every point in Barcelona. The apartment is clean and comfortable with all kind of facilities, including wonderful and big terrace to enjoy (refers to the apartments on the ground floor). Mobile reception was excellent.

we stayed there for 5 days. we found a pretty clean house (double bed not so confortable) with everything you need also for cooking (but anything to eat!) checking in was ok and we had no problems at all. Overall is a perfect location for barcelona.

Staying in Montjuic

Neighborhood Profile
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colorful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
