Lovely apartments located in the heart of Barcelona. Very clean and well appointed for a couple. Had all amenities available, including washing machine, no dryer. Very convenient to center of city and Metro stations, and of course "La Ramblia" main thorough fare for the center of the city, with people watching galore…. The Picasso Museum was outstanding and the Gaudi... More

First of all, this apartment is not in the heart of the city.It is in the most dangerous zone of the area, without no safety/security. When you complain to lovingapartments about this, they advise it is your responsibility to check the area and surrounding neighborhood. The pictures on this website is just a game of light and angles; not showing... More

Arrived at the location late at night and we were placed in a different apartment from the one booked, with one less bed and only air conditioning in the room. We declined the apartment and as the office was closed, moved to a hotel. The next day, was given a new apartment and confirmation we'd get the first night reimbursed... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
