Lured by the chic photos on the website and the relatively basic price, I had booked the studio apartment for six nights. As other reviewers mentioned, it is centrally located, only a few minutes' walk from Plaça Catalunya, which is also where the Aerobus stops. If, however, you arrive after 8:30 pm, as I did, you have to check in... More

Trastero pseudo-pop sucio y desangelado. Total falta de mantenimiento y bichos en el baño. Sin ventilacion. A evitar. Pseudo-pop storage, dirty and sad. Total lack of maintenance and bugs in bathroom. No ventilation. Avoid it.

This was one of the worst accommodations I have endured in my extensive travels. The staff was friendly and helpful, but not enough to offset the terrible apartments. The apartment was dirty. It was falling apart and unsightly. It felt so dilapidated that it was almost unsafe. The wi-fi was negligible, I had faster service using my mobile data connection. The... More

The apartment was very central and it had everything you would need. The only downside is that there is no reception. Other than that everything was great!

This is not a low-cost apartment. It costs 136 Euro per night, so we had some expectations. We were not looking for luxury, but for a decent place to enjoy our vacation. First, there are 3 good things that I must say about this apartment: 1. Its location is excellent. 2. The person in charge (Nicolas) has a very nice... More

Everything works as described: we called from the airport and were met at the time we stipulated. The apartment was clean and bright and had all the useful kitchen items in adequate amounts. Everything worked, the beds were comfortable, the neighbors were quiet. (There is street noise when the windows are open, but nothing unusual.) The neighborhood is central and... More

This apartment has a unique location (super centric), but this turned to be the only good thing of it. It was dirty and certain parts were almost falling apart (please check our pictures). We travelled to Barcelona on December and the apartment was quite cold, when we tried to switch on the warm airco, it started to do a really... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
