Lovely clean apartments, modern bathrooms with hot water. We stayed at the end of July and boy it was hot! Our bedroom didn't have any outside windows but did have a small fan which was a life-saver in the middle of the night. Great location, close to Metro stations, La Rambla, walking distance from La Sagrada Famailia (15 minutes).

Clean apartment, very safe area, our host was very informative and helpful in regards to not only the attractions of Barcelona, but also tips on how to stay safe and navigate the city successfully. Rooms were in great condition, access to wifi was always sufficient. Great apartment with bags of tasteful character!

Gran Via is in a good location, within a 10-15 minute walk of La Rambla. It is situated on a main road, the noise was not a problem at night due to the shutters on the windows which seemed to block out most of the noise. However, quality of sleep can be dictated by who else is stopping in the... More

Really loved staying at apt gran via. Met with the owner, who was very friendly, gave us the key, and left us as if it was our own apartment. The room was beautiful and comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the toilets were well maintained. My Only criticism was the one day when the cleaner threw away some... More

The apartement was super clean. Kitchen facilities were very good. The view was also nice. Beds were comfortable. The room was a good size. The level of quietness of the whole apartement depends on the other guest because it can easily get noisy. Close to metro station and some walking distance to the main attractions. Easy to find. Free Wifi.... More

This is a 5 bedroom apartment located in the center of Barcelona, in an nice but dated building. It looks exactly like the images. On arrival I had to wait for 30 minutes outside the building until someone let me in, payment is is in cash and in advance for the whole period. The rooms are small, beds are of... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
