Apartment overlooked road and was very noisy from endless buses. Gloomy, not much light, except in bedroom which had no curtains on window into light well. Bathroom needed a really good clean. A lick of paint would make it much better. Problems with safe being too safe an not letting us in again. However, it was good value for the... More

Cleanliness is average and cattle is old. There was only one small dustbin, should provide another one. The good side was that the supermarket and metro were just around the corner. The Las Ramblas was a 20 minute walk away. The man who checked us in was friendly.

We stayed here for 5 days. The appartment is simple and basic (not chic) but fine. Everything is a bit old and some lightbulbs were broken but the location made up for this all! We walked to the beach end to parc Guell. Not a 5 minute walk but you get to know Barcelona well and that's great!

We spent last weekend in one of the Bruc Apartments, I must say it was great in terms of location and value for money. The staff was really friendly for meet&greet, and very eager to help and give indications on nearby shops, sightseeing and local events (like the "Three Kings" parade, a quite impressive city event). The apartment was clean... More

Well located in center of Barcelona. You can walk mostly to every where. Even come from Plaza Catalunua to the Hotel on foot. Subway entrance, grocery store and cafe at the corner. Service upon arrival was great, friendly and on time. Good to know that you can pay with your credit card, no need for any deposit or cash guarantee.... More

Stayed there over 4 nights with friends, the location wasn't too bad. We had a double and two single, although the place looked smaller then the pictures I initially booked for the price we paid I thought it was decent. Staff were friendly only met three. The last guy who we saw on the Princess to drop of the keys... More

We stayed here in February - myself and 2 girlfriends. Once we located the apartment (pretty inconspicuous as there is nothing really advertising it) we contacted the rep and he came along within 10 minutes, very friendly and helpful guy, showed us round, chatted a bit about the area etc, he was very nice. The aprtment itself was very clean,... More

We stayed for a week in the appartment which is in the middle of the main facade in Carrer de Bruc and we had a really good time! Carrer de Bruc is in the very center of Barcelona and you can go almost anywhere on foot. Just in opposite the building there is the Urquinona metro station. Lot of places... More

The room was basic but very clean & well worth the $. The linens were clean & we didn't have any problems with the safe. The a/c didn't work so our apt (#1 on level 2) was really hot. The street was kind of noisy since we slept in the living room because of the a/c but there wasn't a... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
