This has to have been the WORST place I stayed during my month vacation in Europe. We arrived at 11:00 pm and had a big day ahead of us the following day. When we got there they told us that our sheets were not ready and would be ready in an hour. WE went upstairs and waited for an hour... More

My sister and I stayed in the 10 bed mixed dorm. We've never stayed in a hostel before this but I cant fault it. The beds were clean, with an option of fresh sheets every night. The bathroom was also clean, tidy and was well equipped. The staff at the hostel were so welcoming and friendly. You can have them... More

Me and my sister stayed for 4 nights here and really enjoyed it!. Having never have stayed in a hostel before we were skeptical about it, but the friendly staff and other people there made our visit very enjoyable! Not just fun for young people who want to go out and party but also for people who are there just... More

I stayed at Teatro for 3 nights with my friend Marine and it was one of the best places I have stayed in! This is a fantastic hostel! Best location, good WIFI and a good location close to metro and an easy walk to most attractions. The reception is open 24 so you even get a friendly welcome after a... More

Teatro was amazing!! I loved everything about this hostel. It is really cute and cosy, so it is really easy to meet people. As soon as you walk in you feel like you are at home. The staff were all really nice and helpful with everything i needed. The organised activities such as sangria and paella night, beach parties and... More

I stayed over ten days at teatro and would not do it again. Well, some of the staff was helpful, the kitchen is nice and the rooms are clean. So why only two stars? -1 star for the multiple mistakes, like taking my stuff to another room without asking me and without realising the mistake. -1 because you guys clearly... More

This place was incredible. The people were all so friendly and helpful. The organised hostel events/excursions were all great fun and the breakfast was perfect and affordable. There were free sangria and dinner nights and the downstairs lounge area gets packed with so many friendly people. I met so many kind, funny and outgoing people at this hostel and I... More

The location was good in terms of getting around the city to see things, but i didn't feel safe when I arrived at night. The room was fine, with a power points for each bed, a locker and alot of floor space. However I feel the price you pay for the bed, a nice gesture would be if beds were... More

First, location is just perfect! in the city centre, infront of the port of BCN and just in a few mins walking from la Rambla. Good metro conections with the main atractions: Park Guiel, Sagrada Familia, Camp Nou, Magic Fontain and so on. Really nice and warm place to stay, vintage style, with cool chill out area, big kichen, AC... More

Staying in Montjuic

Neighborhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colorful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
