Our stay at Hostel Pars Teatro was lovely. The staff were probably the nicest we have come across on our travels (Lucas, Alice, Darwin and Mike thats you :)). The hostel was somewhat quiet when we were there, but it made for a very peaceful and homely feel. The hostel is very thoughtfully laid out, with a vintage interior and... More

This hostel was amazing! All the staff were very friendly and socialized with the guests every night. The common room was a great place to meet other travelers. Finally, the rooms and bathrooms were kept clean throughout my stay.

This hostel is wonderful. With family dinners, trips to the beach, pub crawls, game nights and more there is never a dull moment. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I could go out and explore on my own or join in one of the group activities. The facilities were clean and comfortable. Full kitchen, laundry at your disposal they even... More

The common area and kitchen as well as daily events (pub crawls, going to see the sunset over the mountains and playing bech volley ball) organised by the hostel... More

This has to have been the WORST place I stayed during my month vacation in Europe. We arrived at 11:00 pm and had a big day ahead of us the following day. When we got there they told us that our sheets were not ready and would be ready in an hour. WE went upstairs and waited for an hour... More

My sister and I stayed in the 10 bed mixed dorm. We've never stayed in a hostel before this but I cant fault it. The beds were clean, with an option of fresh sheets every night. The bathroom was also clean, tidy and was well equipped. The staff at the hostel were so welcoming and friendly. You can have them... More

Me and my sister stayed for 4 nights here and really enjoyed it!. Having never have stayed in a hostel before we were skeptical about it, but the friendly staff and other people there made our visit very enjoyable! Staying in Montjuic

Neighborhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colorful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
