First impressions last. Unfortunately, our first impression was being left outside in the heat, carrying our bags and repeatedly ringing the bell to get in without any answer. Luckily, another guest let us in, and when we got up to the reception, the guy working there looked at us and said "oh, was it you ringing the bell over and... More

Great location for exploring Barcelona. Has a good kitchen, computers, wifi, bathrooms, area to eat. Bunk rooms are nice and the staff are helpful. Nice homely feel. Hard to find though as the sign is very small. Highly recommend! Would stay here again.

The staff was very friendly. Met me at the door and helped with my luggage up the stairs. It's very close to the Metro station, about 4mins walk. I chose a 4 bed female room, it had 2 bunk beds and it was alright. Had a good night rest. The bathroom stalls are a bit small, apart from that, I... More

Clean rooms and communal areas, friendly staff and great location- can't complain at all as it was really cheap for city centre location during a busy period (primavera festival). Would highly recommend for anyone looking for easy, cheap accommodation with good transport links and a central location.

Relatively good quality for the price, good location, friendly staff. I booked three beds a month earlier, yet when we arrived, we were placed in separate rooms. It was the major problem that I had with this establishment.

We stayed for 3 nights in a private double room (number 4!). Room was clean and tidy with a balcony, double bed, bed side tables and wardrobe. The balcony was great but very noisy when the windows were opened due to the crossroads outside - that can't really be helped and didn't bother us. Might be worth considering if a... More

+ perfect location (next to the metro Diagonal, a lot of shops nearby), personnel is great, nice design and ambience, beautiful elevator, window view and balcony, quiet, free wifi, free PCs, comfortable and free lockers with keys, a little storage for belongings near the bed, personal lamp - small shower cabin, small kitchen, no kettle

Very good location. The only problem was the bathroom. If someone opens a sink or another shower he hot water stop. Good beds and very clean. People are lovely. The kitchen is very good but there was rotten food on the refrigerator.

My friend and I stayed two nights and were not happy with this hostel. They put us in separate rooms and also have an extremely late check-in time. The bathroom with the toilets is extremely small and dark. All stalls ran out of toilet paper one night we were there and there was no way to get more. Luckily I... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
