+ perfect location (next to the metro Diagonal, a lot of shops nearby), personnel is great, nice design and ambience, beautiful elevator, window view and balcony, quiet, free wifi, free PCs, comfortable and free lockers with keys, a little storage for belongings near the bed, personal lamp - small shower cabin, small kitchen, no kettle

Very good location. The only problem was the bathroom. If someone opens a sink or another shower he hot water stop. Good beds and very clean. People are lovely. The kitchen is very good but there was rotten food on the refrigerator.

My friend and I stayed two nights and were not happy with this hostel. They put us in separate rooms and also have an extremely late check-in time. The bathroom with the toilets is extremely small and dark. All stalls ran out of toilet paper one night we were there and there was no way to get more. Luckily I... More

Good location, the chap at reception very helpful, showers fine, comfortable beds. Would defo recommend. The main road is noisy, we stayed in balcony room, but that's nothing do with the hostel. Really good visit.

Cheap and cheerful. I must say the road was extremely loud but we did pick the room with the balcony. perfect location, walkable everywhere, in fact the bus tours stopped a mere 5 minute walk away. Staff were friendly. No noise from within the hostel. We used the Aero bus from the airport (£5 each) which stopped at Placa du... More

Good place, clean, with all the helpful elements, good equipment like free computers, printers, photocopy, etc. The location is very cool because is near from " Gaudí La Pedrera´s house" and Paseo de Gracia that is the most fancy and popular avenue in Barcelona. The zone is secure and the street outisde is clean. The hostal prices are cheap.

In few words: very clean, very friendly. Good kitchen, living room, also wi-fi available. Proper double bed - something I don't see very often in hostels. Amazing location. Very good for hotel with this price! Thank you!

One of the best hostels I've ever been to. Really cheap (for 8 euros a day you can spend a holiday in this great city), clean and well-located, being so close to the metro station and Passeig de Gracia.

Great hostel, great price. The location is near to Diagonal Metro Station, in Paseo de la Gracia, there are the Gaudi's houses: La Pedrera and Batló and it is one of the shopping areas. Also is near of Sagrada Familia, like 10 minutes walking. The staff is friendly and the rooms are comfortable. We loved that the kitchen was equiped... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
