We arrived jet lagged, and tired, and we were welcomed, and left our luggage, and started to explore. This hotel is located in the heart of great restaurants, bars and cafes. The Boqueria was right behind the hotel, which provided excellent fresh squeezed juices, and fruits. The room was fantastic because we had to balconies to see the Ramblas in... More

We got more than we expected for a 3 stars hotel. The hotel is in a great location, right next to the Boqueria market at the heart of the Ramblas. 5 minutes walk to Placa Catalunia and 10 minutes walk to the harbor and Maremagnum Shopping Center. The L3 metro line is just a minute walk. The hotel is very... More

We spent 2 nights at this hotel & loved it. The hotel is located right on the Ramblas with cafes & markets right at your doorstep. Our room was spacious, very comfortable & not noisy at all with massive double glazed windows. We didnt have the breakfast but you dont need it with plenty of places to chose close by.... More

Not a bad hotel with a great location.if you have a room facing the street, it can be a bit noisy at night with people partying on the street to all hours. The rooms are clean but fairly small. Skip the breakfast they offer since you can do better elsewhere on your own.

The place is right on las ramblas. The is clean but quite small. Two receptions were nice except for one (she has long hair) she is rude. They need to understand friendly staffs make good reviews. It's expected that a bit noisy since its on the main strip next to a pretty cool market.

Nothing special about this place pretty average really. Our room overlooked the roof of the market right next door to the hotel. We stayed just 1 night en route to Sitges the next day. Admittedly it's in the middle of the Ramblas, whether or not that's good or bad is down to personal preference, for me too may people, noisy... More

The smallish room ended up being quite comfortable but the first impression was poor with a dirty wall and the desk chair was filthy and torn. We used a towel to cover it. Our request for extra towel was met one day but not the next. Reception staff not always friendly.

Stayed for 3 nights end of April 15. Location is fantastic as halfway down Las Ramblas about 10 metres from the entrance to Boqueria food market. The entrance to the hotel is very small and we walked past it once as name is on glass doors rather than above hotel. We arrived before check in but were able to leave... More

We choosed this hotel, because of the location and wife have States there before. It is a 3 Star hotel and is ok. A little bit noicy because of the La Rambla. The beds are little bit to small. Breakfast is ok. The weather in May is just perfect for a weekend visit and there is a lot to See.

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
