We love to take Trans Atlantic Cruises and most end or start in Barcelona. We love to stay at AO430 it is centrally located, close to the Metro. It has limited cooking facilities in the room, the rooms are clean and we feel safe. If you are looking for a reasonably priced clean place to stay in Barcelona I highly... More

Booked this room as it seemed on paper to be the perfect location from which to explore Barcelona. We weren't disappointed. Firstly, the apartment was a bit hard to find. Don't go looking for any signs, there aren't any. Just follow the road numbers and you'll find a door with some buzzers and a letterbox which says AO430. That's it.... More

We booked the apartment already months ahead via Expedia. Unfortunately my mom fall ill to breast cancer two months before the trip. So she had to go through a surgery and start with chemotherapy. As the booking was prepaid (thus non-refundable) and made via Expedia, I first contacted them and they tried to cancel the booking, but the owner refused.... More

I have to admit I had a very hard time finding the place! I decided to get the train and walk from the station as it wasn't too far on the map. There were roadworks going on so perhaps that's what got me confused but I spend a good 40 minutes executing a 4 minute walk to the station -... More

This was our third stay at AO430 post cruise. It is convienently located close to the Girona Metro station and within walking distance to Rambla, Placa Cataluna and Sagrida Familia. There are grocery stores nearby so you can make some simple meals and eliminate going out to eat for your meals or you can get something to eat in the... More

We booked an apartment for 4 nights (Monday to Friday) and couldn't have been happier. It had everything we needed, plenty of room, bath and shower, cooking facilities if needed and a lift. The area is full of local bars, restaurants and supermarkets, and is very safe. Girona Metro station is only 5 minutes walk away and is only 2/3... More

We booked online after reading the reviews. We were pleasantly surprised, room was very clean and the maids did a great job each day. The bed was very comfortable. The place is quite hard to find unless you know what you are looking for. As mentioned in other reviews, it is just a door, just look for the number 430... More

I have no clue how this place has so many positive reviews. To be fair we didn't stay here because we were so disgusted by what we encountered when we tried to check in but what occurred was enough to send us running. We got there after traveling all day and had a hard time even locating the hotel, it's... More

Easily recommended apartment hotel in a really nice location, room was huge, clean and cleaning service works fine. Location is quite near of all, like 10min walk to la sagrada familia church, 15 min to beach and la rambla. Near of hotel is supermarkets to get some food to cook in room if You want. There's also good restaurants in... More

Location, quiet, residential area away from the crowds, walkable to everyhere including the great bakeries etc! While a bit hard to find a first, once you are there you are in the center of everything. Walk to Las Ramblas area, the Cathedral, the Metro... A perfect place to end the day.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
