We stayed for 3 nights at Apartaments 2, "Trompetes" str. Most important: SAFE PLACE! CCTV in the lobby, safety box, amazing private entrance - straight from elevator you enter in the apartment (each floor - single lift key). The place is clean and tidy, excellent for a couple. The location is simply perfect - in the Old Town, near the Column... More

Apartment is supposed to be for 4... Bed is not comfortable and the sofa bed is TERRIBLE - the matelas had black spots everywhere, we could feel the springs, the structure of the sofa was so dirty that it looked like it was recycled from the garbage in the street (and I am not surprise it was the case!). I... More

Trade in your hotel miles from the beach and stay in this apartment just feet from the sand... After our first visit to Barcelona staying in a typical hotel, we thought it normal to be a mile or so from Barceloneta beach… But not so… These apartments are literally one block from the beach and Give you the seal of... We stayed for three days with my family. The aparment was fine, everything was clean, there were everything we needed. Its good located, just a few meters from beach and its also close to the city centre. The only disatvantinge is when you arrive after 10 pm or 12 pm you have to pay 20 and 40 euro more.

There are different kind of apartments offered by this company. Before making the booking try to find out which one you would like to stay in. We stayed in Apartment 2 in El Raval. The apartment is great, new decorated, TV, washing machine, well equipped kitchen and nice 4 small balconies. Very nice view on the streets – very barcelonian... More

We stayed for five nights at Trompetes, 4, apt 2. This apartment turned out to be exactly what we wanted, with a few minor disadavantages. More about them soon, but first the good parts. This might well be the best situated apartment in Barcelona, if you like a quite silent surrounding eventhough you live in the middle of a big... More

Pleasant destination in Barcelona! We have stayed at Barcelonetta Beach IV (another location of Classbedroom-hotels) two times and we will come again! Lovely renovated and designed buildings complex. The location is convenient - directly on the beach, near to Rambla and yacht harbor. It's also close to the shops and the metro station. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved it. The location was ideal, beach on one side and city on the other. The only issue was trying to get the key. We arrived from the States at 8:30 and did not get into rooms until 1:30pm so we were saddled with our bags until we got the key. Aside from that, the apartment was in a... More

It is a little hard to find but the woman was very helpful over the phone. Print mapquest directions, and look at the buildings in the street view. It is SO WORTH IT when you find it. Don't let any spray painting throw you off in the street views. The area I was in, the Gothic district, was quite safe... More

Staying in Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
