Perfecly placed apartments in Barcelona, placed in the Born district, with plenty of good restaurants nearby. Easy access to La Rambla, Port Vell and city tours. Within walking distance to Placa Catalunya. Friendly staff, and fair prices for retning an apartment.

Perfect location in the El Born district, Easy accessed by the Airport bus and a 15 min walk. Easy walk to the sea, sights, restaurants, food markets, Carrefour and shops. Spotlessly clean, with well equipped kitchen, (including salt. sugar, oil, dishwasher, washing tablets, washing up liquid and enough loo rolls), Great shower, hot water , shampoo, soap and hairdryer. Great... More

I can't believe we were lucky enough to book this apartment at the last minute, especially since our trip coincided with Semana Santa (Holy Week). This apartment exceeded our expectations! Location: The location cannot be beat, especially if you're a foodie (Google map it and take a tour)! We were 3 minutes from Tapeo (the best tapas) and Pasteleria Hofmann... More

My daughter and I stayed in #41 and it was great value for the location. I don't think you could be better situated to enjoy all that Barcelona has to offer. Very clean and well-equipped unit. The curtains were great for blocking out light. Surrounded by marvelous restaurants and shopping. The one thing I would improve upon is the quality... More

We stayed in Gotic 41. Each room with it's own balcony. The apartments was super clean and all items inside of excellent quality. Lots of natural light in the apartment. It is in a popular tourist area and although you can hear a little noise from outside, it's not from rowdyness or drunkedness, but of people generally meandering and having... More

5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2015 via mobile

My husband and I stayed in the top floor apartment earlier this month. It was a very spacious 1-bedroom apartment, with all of the conveniences we needed. First of all, staff members Mar and Marvin, were quite prompt to respond to any problems that popped up. Interaction with them could not have been better. El Born is a wonderful neighborhood,... This is the second time we stayed here. The location is great, just inside the Born area and a block from the Gotic area (if I understood it correctly). We travelled with another family and they got an apartment down the hall. Our apartment had three rooms, so each of my teenage sons got their own room. The price is... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
