This is the third visit to these apartments over the last 10 years, and they are still as good, in fact I think they are even better than I remembered. The apartments are well equipped, clean and spacious, and are good for couples, families and friends. The location is perfect for the old town, the beach and as a base... More

We stayed twice at BCNgotic during our recent trip to Spain, for a total of 11 nights. Our first visit at the beginning of the trip was for six nights in apartment 11; we enjoyed it so much we came back for five more nights - two in apartment11 and three in 42. Both apartments were very nice - very... More

We stayed for 3 nights in May 2015. The location is great, right in the middle of shops and loads of restaurants, a stones throw away from the metro and about 10 minutes walk from the beach. The apartment was clean and well equipped. It seemed pretty dark inside as the road is narrow (like many in Barcelona) so there... More

Our family enjoyed a 4 day stay at these spotlessly clean and modern apartments during the Easter Holidays. We stayed in number 41 on the fourth floor and found it very quiet as it has excellent double glazing and is set back from the main road. The staff were there to meet us on our arrival and were friendly and... More

The location is almost ideal: a few minutes from the metro station which is on the same line as the conference centre. The streets around it contain so many restaurants and bars that we never felt the need to find a different place. The apartment itself is clean and spacious.

What a great apartment! It's spacious, it's clean. Friendly staff. And not to forget: great location. Walking distance to La Ramblas, Placa Catalunya, Barceloneta / Beach, in the Barri Gotic (lots of restaurants, Santa Maria del Mar -church and Picasso museum nearby). Also it is very close to a metro station.

It was easy to deal with the company, the apartment was clean, they provided a cot for our son without any fuss. It was a modern interior with mod cons and good insulation. A great location. I would recommend this is a place to stay

We stayed as a family in the 3 bedroom apartment, it was excellent. We have twin babies and a 5 year old and the facilities were excellent for us. They provided us with 2 high chairs and 2 cots. The location is excellent, great restaurants and near a good food market near by. Check in was easy. There is a... More

Perfecly placed apartments in Barcelona, placed in the Born district, with plenty of good restaurants nearby. Easy access to La Rambla, Port Vell and city tours. Within walking distance to Placa Catalunya. Friendly staff, and fair prices for retning an apartment.

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
