Like most reviewers have stated, these apts are immaculate - the building, hallways, all lovingly maintained. Stayed 4 nights in late November on the top floor one bedroom w terrace as I requested a quiet room. The apt delivered in every way! Comfortable beds (twins) large living area w view of the Santa Maria Cathedral, well equipped kitchen, and church... More

Well located apartment in a lovely area that doesn't seem to feature much in the tour books and we hadn't seen on our previous trips. We travelled with our 20 month old daughter and were a bit apprehensive about taking a city break with her but Mar left out all the items we needed (cot/high chair etc) as well as... More

Second time this year in these apartments. This time we had 43 and it was even better than our last stay. A bit more modern with a better washing machine and nice balconies. Again it was well equipped, clean and comfortable. We were slightly concerned about noise as we had previously stayed in number 14 where the bedroom is set... More

These apartments are extremely well located for exploring Barcelona. They are clean with lots of character overlooking the street which is pedestrians only. It was also nice to be able to return to the apartment during the day during siesta and then go out again without any inconvenience. Even though these apartments are centrally located in a fascinating area they... More

I can only echo what others have already written about BCNGotic. It was my first trip to Barcelona and Mar and Martin helped to make it a memorable one. Located in ElBorn on a great side street, cleaner than my house(lol), and very comfortable. I will stay here again. Next Trip.......

First time in Barcelona, but we where lucky with our choice of accommodation and location. You will find everything (good restaurants, shops, supermarket, bars etc) within a few seconds/minutes walk from the apartment. Nice and well equipped apartment (nr. 31). We where provided with baby cot, high chair, toys and cutlery for our toddler free of charge. Arrived on a... More

The office only works 9-3 and not holidays, which is fine unless the airlines lost your luggage and you have to hang around waiting. Mar (manager) is very pleasant and helpful. Wireless works well. Didn't use stove or dishwasher. We selected #1 on 4th fl, which was great. Would definitely stay here again.

Thanks for your comments. We also open the office a few hours in the afternoon, we regret not having clarified it to you to wait for your luggage. We will review the wifi. More

Our family of 5 stayed in this apartment for 4 nights. It was in a great location to walk to all the sites in the El Born, Barri Gotic and Barconaleta areas and very close to the Jaume I metro stop. The street itself had lots of shops and restaurants as well. We really enjoyed being in the heart of... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
