Spent 5 nights here last week. Ensuite room with enclosed balcony with seating area, huge tv, fridge and comfy bed. Pleasant quick check in and we felt safe with own front door key. Staff were lovely, there's a kitchen area with microwave and tea and coffee to make. Location spot on, 20ish yards from Hotel Majestic what more needs to... More

I had read the reviews and I was worried at first but loved the local so we booked it for 68€ a night...then we arrived and were greeted by Oscar who was helpful to store our luggage till our room was ready in approx an hours time. We went out came back and were shown to our room which had... More

We spent there 3 nights without any kind of problems. The guy at the reception welcomed us and answered all our questions about the city, public transports and places to visit. We were also allowed to leave our luggage in a room during our last day in Barcelona, even if we hadn t pay for that night. Clean, of course... More

We had a double room with ensuite. The shower was so tiny that we couldn't use the shower without the shower head falling on your head, burning ourselves on the exposed pipes, and the shower curtain sticking to your body. There were rough towels, but no bathmat, no towel rail, no plug for the sink, two small flat pillows and... More

I had read some about this hostel before my stay, and it was alot of negative things so I was prepared. But when I arrived it was a pleasant surprise, the house was worn but still kind of beautiful and it had a certain charm. Clean beds. But on the second day we discovered a cockroach in our room, so... More

Was pleasantly surprised at what good value this hostel was given its central location ( just around the corner from Las Ramblas and only 10 mins walk to Famila Sagrada). The room was spacious and the beds comfortable (linen supplied). They did say that the hostel had AC but this is in the form of a large floor fan. Staff... More

It is a Hostel, so we didn't expect too much. At the end everything was quite well. Unfortunately we didn't had a fridge in our room. Also the kitchen was not available after 22pm. At the end not very important for us, but still remarkable. The fridge was actually the reason we booked this hostel. The wifi quality was not... More

We knew what we were getting ourselves into, just didn't think it would that run down. Bring your flip flops. We were in the private room. We faced the Main Street .At 6am we woke up to cars and fire trucks noise. My boyfriend got up to close the shutters and window. The fire trucks were downstairs putting out a... More

You can't find fault this hotel as it puts itself in 1-star category. The room was approx 80sq ft, with TV which only has all-Spanish channels. Private shower was surprisingly big. Front desk, Oscar is very helpful. And best thing about the hotel Location, Location, Location... On Passieg de Gracia - it's center of the shopping area, restaurants and next... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
