The location could not be better, right off Las Ramblas and around the corner from La Boqueria. Can't complain about the price and the staff are very nice and very helpful. A pleasant stay overall and would reccommend.

Stayed for 3 night in May, location is perfect, just a 2 minute walk from La Rambla and 5 minutes from Catalunya Square. Room was clean and although wasn't ensuite the bathroom was just across the corridore, they sell tea and coffee for just €1 per cup, reception open 24 hours. The location of this hostel is perfect, in the meddle of la Rambla, near of Plaça de Catalunya. Service perfect. The room's are not big. The bad smell into the stairs is the only thing negative... We was here for 3 night in October.

I was there for a business trip mid september 2014. It's in a hidden alley a few meters from the Ramba, near the market. Nice rooms with basic Ikea forniture, all is very clean. 24h reception. The rooms have private shower and sink and only the toilet is in common. Air conditioning works fine. If you book early, is one... More

We stayed there for 3 nights in june. The hostal is very close to ramblas, thus in the tourist center. The rooms were simply furnished and very clean. Outside there is a building site, after 8 in the morning it was rather noisy. Very friendly and helpful staff. We hardly didn't find it, it seems to be hidden.

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
