As per other reviews this hotel is a lil gem for sure. Has great access to subway, hop on/off bus stop, restaurants and shopping yet out of the noise of downtown. Staff were wonderful, friendly and had excellent English if your Spanish is lacking. Our room far exceeded our expectations in terms of size (and yes we've been to Europe... More

We (two couples) were traveling to Barcelona for 3 nights and booked with this hotel. This hotel room was advertised as an apartment that slept 4 people. That was true, except that it was a one bedroom apartment with a pull out couch in the sitting/living room. We had to walk through the bedroom every time we had to use... More

We came back after a good one night stay last year. We are travelling with a family of 4 and find the hotel good value for money. Very nice rooms, great location and very friendly and helpful staff. Great quality and free wifi. We will certainly will come back! Only area for improvement is the airconditionong. Rooms can get bit... More

Was a very good hotel: modern, clean and friendly. The view and location was fantasic, just a few meters from Gaudi's famous architechture. The staff were gratefully friendly and ready to help. The brilliant ground floor resteraunt serves breakfast, lunch and dinner at reasonable prices considering the area. Enjoyed our stay and will return when possible.

The hotel is small, but the room I had was huge, and very clean. It has all the appliances and stuff you would expect, and all you'll need if you are a tourist. Everyone is helpful. The only thing I didn't got to try was the food at the little restaurant inside. I stayed for 4 days and did some... More

It's a friendly hotel, with view to the La Pedrera. Near Passeig de Gracia, Las Rablas, train station, subway. Staff very friendly and kind. We were 5 friends and the apartmant was big with a kichenet and supermarkets nearby.

It is an old typical flat-house reconditioned as hotel. The furniture a bit run-down. The rooms for 2 are not large and in general the hotel is quite cramped in the common areas (ie. reception, corridors, solarium). The rooms for 3 are quite large. Noisy as the doors are old and no carpet to absorb the noises. The facilities are... More

Location is perfect, right off the main Passeig de Gracia and literally a minute away from a train station. Front desk staff are a friendly lot and the apartment is spacious, if a little sparsely furnished. We were three persons staying in a triple bed apartment and we had more than enough room to spread out. Keep in mind, though,... More

Well located off Passage de Gracia in central Barcelona. The bedroom was not so large with lots of wasted space in a corridor but confortable and with very pleasant small balcony. Not a remarkable place but reasonable value for money.

First the positive: Good location with nearby metro connections shops, bakeries and restaurants. If you don't mind a nine block walk or the short taxi ride to the Placa Catalunya you can catch the economical express Aerobus to/from the airport. Just be sure you are on the right bus (terminal 1 or 2?) when heading to the airport. In the... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
