I don't normally write internet reviews, however I have to warn anyone that thinks about staying in these apartments DO NOT GO HERE. We were in a third floor apartment. It was dirty, smelly and in no way at all modern. The description on the website and the pictures bear no relation to what we found - it is outrageous... More

What a find! lovely spacious apartment and just off the Ramblas. great price and there is a rooftop terrace with a pool. The only problem is there is zero noise from the hours 9-9 which includes talking too loudly as the walls are paper thin. we were no party animals and the cleaning charge is quite high but evens itself... The apartment was perfect for our family. Location is great, the building is modern with elevator, which was very good for my mother. You have everything you might need, lots of space, clean, and cheap. The keys are collected from a different hotel, around 15 minutes walking away. Staff is helpful and nice. 100% recommended.

Its located in a good area. You don't get a safe in the room. When I rang to ask them bout it they said they'd call me back and never did. The view is a brick wall, awful. No balcony which we had expected. Its very minimalist. The air con doesn't work. The pics aren't of the apartment. Only the... More

Las Ramblas Apartments images on this site are deceiving. The only picture that is true is the lobby area. The apartment served its purpose for putting your head down and then getting back out into Barcelona. It was kind of awkward as we had to collect keys at another location, which thankfully due to a lovely taxi driver, this wasn't... More

Firstly had a surprise when I stumbled across an email sent to me 48 hrs prior to pick up the key in a separate location. Taxi had difficulty finding the location for the key pick up it and due to a very disinterested person The taxi ride ended up being twice as much. The rooms are in poor-average condition needing... We asked for an extra set of keys as we were two couples and one single person. We didn’t get anywhere. Two sets of keys for 5 (let alone 8) people just aren’t enough. The apartment door lock is damaged and the key doesn’t fit all the way in. It takes a skill to unlock and open the door. The... More

This apartment was absolutely terrible. Beyond the location, it was not a good value for the money. The Air Conditioners did not work. We complained immediately and they said they would send a repairman over. They claimed the repairman came while we were sleeping, but they LIED because someone was home at all times.. We spent the week in Spain... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
