I initially stayed here for work during the off peak season, very central location in the Gothic area of Barcelona - plenty of activity in the surrounding streets and only a stones throw from the beach. Fine and reasonable restaurants on the street, where I even got to know some of the owners! The hotel reception staff are very friendly... More

I stayed here in January with my 14-year old daughter and we loved it. We had a room in the front, from which we could see the port. Because of the double windows, you don't hear any noise from the street. We loved the way the room was decorated, the beds were large and comfortable and all amenities were good:... More

Situated near to front of port area. Very close to Las Ramblas, Gothic area and metro. Room had everything that you need but wasn't special. Very clean. Helpfull reception staff. Do not miss either of the Cathedrals or eating in the marketplace situated on the lefthand side of Las Ramles when walking away from the Port. I would go back... More

Fantastic Hotel in a fantastic location. Right next to La Rambla (3 min walk max) and within walking distance to most city centre attractions. Hotel is clean and comforable and the receptionists were all extremely helpful. The street it is located on has quite a few restauants and tapas bars which offer a great selection of spainish and catalan cuisine... More

We went to Barcelona for a City Break spending 3 nights at the Catalonia Port. The location of the hotel is excellent being just a 2 minute walk to the bottom of La Ramblas. There are lots of small shops lining the narrow streets surrounding the hotel and the harbour is also just a couple of minutes walk away. The... More

In the heart of the Gothic District it allows you to walk to many of the city's hilites. Small and contemporary with a wonderful small courtyard and pool. Corner rooms give you a view of a treed square with the ocean byond. It's close to la Rambla but on a quiet steet. We travel a lot and we consider this... More

I stayed there recently on a hen 'do' with 7 girls and we wanted to be close to the city centre. For the money we paid it was surprisingly good. (Especially as I had spent the previous 5 nights at the Hilton with family in Barcelona.) Yes it was small, but very clean and the decor was very modern and... More

We had a fabuluous stay at the hotel Catalonia Port: Very clean hotel with the most modern funiture, extremly service oriented staff in the city center of Barcelona and at the same time close to the port. Although it is practically next to the Ramblas (5 minutes walk) it is a very quiet hotel and still one of the secret... More

This hotel is just off the Ramblas near the port in the Gotic area It is VERY convienient to everywhere. The rooms are very spacious and Euro-chic. They are very charming, The bed is firm but comfortable. The shower was great. The internet/wifi was free which we love. There are lots of nearby restaurants so I would skip the relatively... More
