Posh hotel in excellent location with remarkable views from roof top bar/pool. Rooms small, with poor soundproofing from rooms next door, above, and corridor; two single beds instead of one double? Came back to the room to find dirty towels left on the floor from maintenance staff. Breakfast was good quality with a good selection, shame about a couple of... More

The location is great, Ramblas de raval is in the center, just 2 minutes from the Ramblas. I love this area, it s not the chicest area, but very lively. The beds are the most comfortable i slept in so far. I recommend!

Flashy hotel in excellent location with tremendous views from certain floors. Rooms poorly outfitted for needs of travelers: Residential plumbing fixtures ill-equipped to handle high-volume hotel use; Little soundproofing from rooms next door, above, and corridor; Inadequate work surfaces; Inadequate storage; One, uncomfortable chair; Enormous bed good for recreation (easily heard from next door room), but silly for sleep. And... More

We stayed in this lovely hotel for 4 nights from New Years eve. Check in was prompt, staff were friendly and the hotel is a round structure, cleverly designed in the middle of a quiet street. The hotel is quirky and the concept is modern with mood lighting. I loved the round walls in the lobby and the animal structures... More

We were immediately met with a free room upgrade which was fantastic. The room was lovely and spacious (as it would have been anyway) but we were moved higher up in the hotel which meant we had a gorgeous view. We went up to the rooftop bar which was nice, a little small but perfect for us because we visited... More

What a stunning hotel! Quirky reception, very modern design. Our room was amazing, lots of white clean lines with pink led lighting behind the bed. Very open room, only bit of privacy you have from each other is in the toilet! The shower cubicle has a section of frosted glass to hide your modesty so fine for a couple but... More

This hotel is nicely designed with the concept of "Function follow Form" with nice modern Architecture and Interiors Nice views from the 360 rooftop. BUT: Room and toilet design is completely uncomfortable with ZERO privacy. It was fine for us as a couple but I wonder how families or friends can share the same room. Location is a bit inconvenient... More

I stayed here for 4 nights the first weekend in December. I had read excellent reviews online, and thought the hotel was excellent value for money. There were several elements that let down the hotel, I have highlighted these in order of the worst! Service. The staff were appalling. I've worked in travel for 4 years and often sell trips... The Hotel was within walking distance to the main thoroughfare, attractions, cafes and restaurants. It was exceptionally clean, modern, very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and approachable. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the room was a nice temperature. We had a buffet breakfast, with a good variety of food. The Hotel itself had a very unusual décor... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was a great, comfortable modern hotel. We had a great view of the square below. The bed was amazing especially after 5 weeks of travel. The staff were really helpful particularly when my partner decided he had to go to the football match that night. We had no problems with the cleaning... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
