We stayed here in January 2014. Our room was quite spacious and comfortable for the price, but the location was perfect! Right on the Passeig de Gracia, we could walk out of our door and a short walk would take us past the Pedrera, the Casa Batllo, and a busy shopping and restaurant precinct. Public transport was convenient too. Only... More

We booked a double room, ensuite bathroom (needs a renovation). Minimal old furniture, but the staff were kind and location was great, at the heart of Barcelona. Free breakfast: coffee, cake, toasts and cereals.

Location of this hostel was convenient. We traveled from airport by direct train to passeig de gracia-barcelona. It was about 15-20min walk to the hostel. The hostel is very clean, offers free breakfast and staff are friendly. Although, the only thing that we dont really like are the size of the room, it was extremely tiny for 2 guests with... More

The Hostel was simply a great accommodation! The people that worked there were very welcoming, helpful, and patient with the many questions. The price for the hostel for the two nights was not that expensive. clean bed with clean sheets, a blanket, and a pillow. Overall I would recommend this hostel to any of my friend!

I enjoyed the staff and I think the place is good value for money -- it is not a five star hotel, but you will get fair service, food, rooms for the prices they charge. The place offers lunch/dinner for 9 euros which is quite good.

Nikbor is in a great location in a very nice area of Barcelona. We stayed here for a stag do and for large groups it is perfect. as far as hostels go it is good, the view from the balconies at the front is amazing. the beds are comfy. the room is reasonably clean. the breakfast isn't great but then... The people working there are so nice and helpful! They organise nights out with the others, so it is super easy to have fun and make new friends! The atmosphere was great, the hostel was clean and well situated, the train from the airport goes there. We had a great time in Barcelona!

We stayed for just two night and arrived around 10 in the night. There was someone on reception to attend us and show us around and make us feel comfortable. The beds were decent and clean bedding was provided. Lockers were good size. Dorm was big and spacious. Overall comfortable stay and very well organised. Staff also provided a lot... More

The stay was very good. The only problem was that the 6-bed room we had was supposed to be open all the time - fortunately, we eventually got the key because there was only our 5-people group. This was apparently the only room that could not be locked, but still it seems a bit unsafe to have such an option.... More

Stayed three nights in this great hostel. The staff were very helpful and provided tourist information as well as restaurant recommendations and very conveniently located in the Gracia neighborhood . The city was a great experience, and this hostel (and their staff) exceeded expectations. Would stay there again!

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
