Fantastic basic hotel. We were two couples having a city break didn't fancy a hostel and having a short break on a budget this was the perfect hotel for us. Room was good and clean and even better had it's own bathroom. Coffee always available downstairs served by the friendly and helpful receptionists. Everything was close by either by walking... More

Stayed here 3 nights in August. Had room facing courtyard. Room was clean and modern. The location is excellent. Short walk to plaza catalunya. Its at the top of passeig de gracia a beautiful street. The walls are paper thin. You hear everything. But that didn't stop me sleeping as we arrived back late and tired each night. The price... More

Loved the hotel, location is amazing, cosy and clean rooms, nice staff. The only minus was, that you can hear your neighbours so well, you could believe they are actually in your room. Anyway we were so tired from touring, we were sleeping like "dead". All in all, i would definitely come back to this hotel. Advice when you are... More

We stayed here in September on a 5 day city break and weren't disappointed. A few steps away from Gaudi's La Pedrera Casa Mila on Passeig De Gracia. The room was at the front of the hotel and featured a small balcony, shower room and double bed. Neat and smart unlike some of the less tasteful 'busy' decor & furnishings... More

We recently stayed at the Hotel Cristina for a few days in Barcelona. The hotel was in a very nice part of the city, a short walk from the main tourist routes. The hotel was clean and tidy and the room we had was basic but quite adequate with a large bathroom and air conditioning. It backed onto a small... More

Great value for money. Lovely and friendly staff. Always willing to help. Clean and tidy rooms. Location is brilliant. The walk to Catalunya and La Rambla along Passeig de Garcia is lovely. Away from the tourists, one can enjoy the city and learn more about it.

H Cristina is located at the Passeig der Garcia, from where you can reach th Rambla within 10 minutes. On the Passeig there are several archtitectial highlights by Gaudi. The rooms are very small, but if you´re looking for a short city trip it is worth the money to book H Cristina. We had no breakfast. I would recommend to... More

This hotel was recommended by a colleague at work and did not disappoint. The rooms were basic but had all we needed and was cleaned to a top standard. There was shampoo and shower gel but I would recommend you bring your own like we did. A small price to pay for a hotel in a great location. Gracia is... More

Booked here having read the reviews on Trip Advisor and wasn't disappointed. It's about a 20 minutes - half hour walk into the heart of Barcelona, and a 5 minute walk from the nearest underground station. The receptionist was very pleasant and my room was fine. It was at the back so pretty quiet (although I did hear the person... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
