Me and my boyfriend only stayed in Somnio for 3 nights, but while staying there we wished we could have stayed all nights for the rest of our trip. The room was big, everything was super clean, the wifi was working perfectly! It in a great location, very central. Enjoy!

We stayed 2 nights here. Room nice and clean, bathroom clean as well. Staff (we met 4 of them) very helpfull and kind. Somnio hostels- just 2 crossroads away from Catalunya. Would really recommend Somnio others and would really come back myself!

Really good location in Barcelona, private bedroom clean and comfortable. We really enjoy the hotel, we were only disapointed by the organisation during the night, we went outside and when we came backbefore midnight there were nobody to open the door. Without this issue we would have been really happy by this hotel.

We stayed at Somnio for one weekend and are very happy with our choice. The location is perfect, rooms are very nice, the receptionists are angels, very helpful and nice. Real lifesavers! We certainly recommend Somnio to everyone!

I've been there 3 nights, the position is very central, good when you stay just a few days. Nice people on the desk, helped when i've got some problem. My room was small but ok, silent, very comfortable bed.

I last stayed at Somnio in Barcelona some six years ago and remembering the excellent service, value and location I decided to return when in the area for a quick two day break last week. Travelling solo this time round I was given a smaller single room at the back which was still very comfortable size-wise. My only criticism would... More

Initially it was hard to find this place because the entrance is a plain door shared by other tenants in the same building and the signage is small and only mounted on the inside of the door frame. Its located only a short walk from Passeig de Gracia metro station, Placa Catalunya, and Las Ramblas but its far enough away... More

Good location and has the minimum requirements. Staff was very helpful when we requested their help. It is a good choice if you're looking to stay a couple of nights in a Hostel in Barcelona/quick trip to Barcelona.

I spent hours trawling through websites looking for cheap accomodation in August and this hostel kept popping up! I've never stayed in a hostel before so I was a little wary but was persuaded by my student daughter. What a pleasant surprise. The location was ideal, just off La Ramblas (though some way back from the popular street performers). A... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
