This hotel is beautiful with a great outside area and lovely decorations inside. The beds were very comfortable and the room very clean. The spa facilities were also very nice. We had been traveling over 15 days in Spain, with just about as many hotel rooms as days, when we arrived here in Segovia. This is the first hotel where the staff, with the exception of the spa workers, treated us rudely and were not flexible with us not being fluent Spanish speakers. We got no warm greetings from reception, where English was spoken. Only the basic information. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good. However, the oldest server, possibly the Maitre d', would not seat us, even though we had reservations and was not flexible in us using our Spanish app or our attempts at speaking Spanish. Finally, another server recognized we had reservations and seated us. The older server delivered the food incorrectly to the wrong person and waived us off when we wanted to pay our bill to take care of other tables. It is hard to even give an "average" rating for this hotel because of the staff being so inconsiderate. Maybe they prefer only fluent Spanish speaking customers, but English speaking customers also have money and would appreciate some kindness.

This hotel is one of the best that I’ve been to. I’ve given 5 stars albeit the breakfast which for me as a vegan was not satisfying although the cost is very reasonable (15 euro at the time of this post). The service was amazing! So kind and helpful. We got a parking ticket and didn’t know how to pay for it and the woman at the counter spent more than ten minutes to find the way which reduced the ticked by half and we finalized the issue in half an hour instead of dragging it to the rental office. The room was huge, comfortable beds and we got a balcony connected to the pool. All in all a very comfortable hotel with calm atmosphere

Quality at its best, friendly, helpful staff, luxurious room. Idyllic stop on our motorcycle tour of Spain. Quiet day spent by lovely clean pool. Old Town approx 20-30min walk away or can hop in a taxi. Plaza Mayor a little further and Pandora Food & drinks a must.

Terrible hotel! This hotel is in desperate need of renovation! It’s so old fashioned and run down that it should not warrant its 4 star status. The carpets on the stair case are worn out. The rooms are dirty and quite run down. However they still charge a huge price per night for this. The attitude of the staff is also terrible! Better to choose a different hotel!

Feels like the hotel is more of an add-on to their restaurant business. Apparently, used to be really good and chice back in the day, now it is quite dated and, poorly taken care of, it is getting worse by day... such a shame! I mean it is passable for a really cheap price if you get it (circa EUR 50-70 a night) but, otherwise, it is not a good deal. Just have a look at the photos of a hair drier and shower head that I had in my room... mold and dust - plain disgusting.

Beautiful hotel, lovely big pool and friendly staff. Lovely decor and fabulous large rooms. We had a ground floor room with an entrance to the pool area. It takes approx 25 mins to walk to the aqueduct from the hotel. A taxi can do it in 5 mins and costs approx 5/6 Euros.

We were looking forward to this hotel on our "road trip" as it was the one where we were going to relax by the pool or use the lovely looking indoor pool. Our room, ground floor with a small terrace, gave us a view of the empty outdoor pool, there were no chairs/loungers either. The indoor pool, as we found out, was €12 per person for 1 hour as its part of the spa. This has to be booked in advance and is not open at all times. I have read the booking site's information and feel that this is not made clear. The hotel is grand and decorated in a relatively old fashioned style. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Our room was comfortable, had plenty of space and included two chairs and table, a fridge/minbar and safe but no kettle. Bathroom was large and had a shower and bath. We did not use the terrace as it was dirty with bird droppings on the furniture. We could have asked for it to be cleaned but at that time just wanted to relax. We travelled in to Segovia on the bus, there is a bus stop across the road and the journey took 10 minutes costing €1 per person each way. My impression is that the Hotel puts style ahead of substance, don't let the photographs misguide you.

Beautiful hotel - Great breakfast, reasonable prices on food and drinks. The only negative on the entire hotel is the beds - they are hard and uncomfortable. The location was good right across from the bus stop to go downtown. The Roman aqueduct is worth seeing. The old town of Segovia is quite nice and well worth the visit

Elegant, almost regal, spacious. Awesome breakfast....great people. The desk clerk was very helpful in understanding the details of the city, what to see, and how to get there. Lobby is huge and beautifully appointed. Decorations are magnificent, as well.

Hotel was very nice, welcoming, clean and comfortable. Only knock was that it was quite far from old town Segovia (required a taxi). Lots of amenities that we didn't use since we spent all day at old town.
