We drove from Malaga to Asturias and decided to cut the drive in two abs spend a night in Segovia. When we book a hotel we tend to research it a lot. And in Segovia we thought this was the one for us. And boy were we right. It's a stunning old building in the middle of the old town.... More

We chose this hotel because it was the only one listed in Segovia in Lonely Planet. It has underground parking but it is so tight it took us 20 minutes to get our car out. Good location and good value.

The hotel is in a good location, close to city centre, but quiet and has character. Reception hospitality and help are good. Plus the hotel has parking which is important in Segovia. However, when booking do check the room rates as they change day by day ,even when you book in advance, reflecting the occupancy level. In our case, the... More

This is a nice, clean hotel. The breakfats was good, didn't have a variety of food though. They had some hot buffet (bakon, eggs), but very limmited choice of other food like for example deli meat or cheeses. The offered some baked croissants, breads. There are fruits, bevarages. The private parking is around 14 euros. The hotel is on a... More

This is a humble little hotel that shows its age in a number of ways, from the threadbare carpets (honestly, the thinnest I can recall ever walking on) to the simple - dare one say spartan - furniture, to the period piece bathroom. Its location is also questionable compared to others; comparing to the parador 5k out of town is... More

This hotel has very friendly, helpful staff. Its location is excellent. The view from the roof is lovely. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The breakfasts are adequate but not exciting. The little restaurant serves simple, basic meals. The hotel is a very short walk from the main square.

I have been using Los Linajes as a stop over in Segovia for more than 20 years. It keeps being the simple hotel close to everything, with an astonishing open air terrace on top showing 360 º views of the old city and the surrounding countryside. For me it is an evident choice much more interesting than the Parador. The... More

I have set foot in 14 different countries and stayed in literally hundreds if not thosuands of hotels and I can say without a doubt that this is the worst one I have ever stayed in. I cannot tell you in words how rude the man working at the front desk was(40-50, gray hear, sweater vest). He looked annoyed every... More

The location is good, but the hotel itself is run-down almost to the point of delapidation. The desk-clerk who checked us in sullen and unfriendly. The carpet looks like a river-bed -- full of ground-in muck and dirt. The rooms reek of cigarette smoke. The "exercise room" has a sauna (not working), hot tub (not working), shower (not working), and... More

Los Linajes is perched on a hill in the centre of Segovia, five minutes' walk from the cathedral, and a happy stroll from anything else worth seeing. The location is excellent, however some of the rooms (in the older part) are still quite old-style Spanish hotel, very clean but a little tired. Ours had a window which looked out onto... More
