On the narrow Calle Daoiz between the Cathedral and the Alcazar is this charming little hotel. On a busy day it takes no little chutzpah to drive through the pedestrian Plaza Mayor to get to the hotel, then to block the street as you run in to find out where to park. Fortunately, there are some spaces below the hotel,... More

A very good option for exploring the beautiful city of Segovia. Situated a couple of minutes from both the main square with its beautiful cathedral and the almost fairy tale Alcazar, the Don Felipe is a charming hotel. The building has been sympathetically converted into a hotel. Rooms are a reasonable size and have the usual mod cons . Beds... More

One's first concern is parking. To get to the hotel we had to drive through the old city, across the main square by the cathedral, where very few vehicles get to go (those bound for hotels are allowed), and down a narrow street behind hoards of tourists bound for the Alcázar, which is almost next to this hotel. After this... More

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Found it to be comfortable and staff were all very helpful. Breakfast was varied and plentiful and served until quite late each morning. Great location close to the sights and places to eat. Would stay at this hotel again without hesitation.

As everyone states, the location really make this an awesome choice. A few minutes from many sites, very well furnished and comfortable rooms (mine had a small balcony with a fantastic view of the Alcazar and surrounding countryside). Large bathroom, full up on toiletries to start (so you don't have to go asking around). Check-out was a little rough as... More

Right in the heart of old town. (Hard to find, but use these directions. Go to cathedral by Going up road on right that says closed to traffic, EXCEPT hotels. There you take the very sharpest right up steep road. Keep going until cathedral. Take left. That is your road. Continue until you see sign for spot reserved for Don... More

We enjoyed our two night stay here. We requested and received an upper floor room overlooking the Alcazar with a balcony. It was very quiet and we slept well. A few staff members were grumpy but we tried to overlook this having read about them in previous reviews. One of our bedside lights was broken and, after a call to... More

We spent two nights in the Don Felipe in the heart of the old town of Segovia. We were lucky enough to be allocated a upper floor room at the rear of the hotel with it's own roof terrace with the most fantastic view over the city wall towards the amazing "Cinderella" castle ( we understand Disney took this castle... We enjoyed our night at this hotel. There was a garage attached to the hotel and the parking was included in our deal. Our room (107) had a jacuzzi and a view of the castle. The room was spacious spacious. The hotel' s decor was lovely. Breakfast was very good and the hotel was centrally located. We would happily recommend... More
