Travelling down through Spain, my husband and I stopped off here one night and what an eye-opener this budget hotel proved to be. It cost us the princely sum of 29 euros for a double room, which was absolutely pristine, beautifully furnished and, to cap it all, we had a lovely view out over the cathedral. The location was spot... More

I just called the hotel to know a little bit more about where I was going to stay during my trip to Salamanca. What I got was a very rude answer on the phone. This receptionist in a very harsh way said to me: "whatever you want to know about the hotel go the the website and find it there,... More

Spent 3 nights here... Looked far from plaza mayor but you just have to find your path and it's not far at all! Friendly English staff ! A little noisy at night is its on a traffic signal . But otherwise very nice place to stay ,great breakfast ,parking at door front and comfortable rooms for a pretty good price.... More

This hotel is situated at the edge of the old town with easy walking access to the Plaza Major. Unfortunately is is built on a traffic island, so there is constant noise if you open the windows. Our room faced the most fantastic view of the Cathedral which is worth having. The room was basic but comfortable and clean and... More

We were booked into this hotel with Riviera Travel. The "double room" on the fourth floor was really a single room with a double bed. As other reviewers have mentioned there was virtually no room around the bed and the only redeeming feature was the view of the cathedral. The first night (during which the outside temperature fell to -1degC) was... We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a tour. The location is very handy for the old part of the city with most sights within waking distance. It is a little quirky insofar as the lower parts of the buildings are excavated foundations which create an unusual courtyard. The room was very small as was the bed which... More

Ideally situated a short walk from the town centre this is a basic hotel which is functional without being cosy. Our room (402) had a fabulous view of the Cathedrals but was very limited in size with just enough room for us to walk around the bed. The bathroom was fine with a powerful over bath shower. For breakfast there... More

We were early for our touring coach so decided to find refuge in the hotel bar. However as we went into the bar we noticed a courtyard area which was really quiet so made our way down. The bar area was part of an old monastery which was a great place to sit and have a glass of vino blanco.

The rooms facing the main road are rather noisy so ear plugs are advisable. I was there as part of a Riviera Travel tour. Service is a bit hit and miss inside in the bar but seems more efficient in the courtyard, which is more pleasant anyway if the weather is suitable. The meal we had was very reasonable and... More

Just returned from a two night stay here as part of Riviera Holiday Tour. The hotel is part of a tower of the old city walls with a lovely courtyard in which to relax after a busy day sightseeing. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the centre and the modern art museum. Breakfast was more than adequate catering... More
