Our group of 6 enjoyed the breakfast here as well as the close proximity to everything, we were able to walk everywhere. The entrance way is interesting, reminds me of being in my grandmoms house, but in a cute way. The rooms were ok, beds a little small but it worked for 2 nights. Love Salamanca!

This an old fashion hotel kind of favorite for the over 70 years old folks. It has some pluses like good location and the possibility to park your car. The staff wasn't that friendly and that awkward feeling that you are where you don't belong never left us.

We stayed only one night in this hotel and were very pleased with it. It is fairly easy to find and is very handy for the city centre, restaurants and bars. Very exuberently decorated and the room was enormous!! Lovely bathroom. Would have liked more than 1 night here. Breakfast was buffet style and the choice was endless. we were... More

The Hotel was part of a tour package that my mom and I were on. Personally, I thought the hotel was overdecorated (at least for my taste - i prefer trendy/contemporary). the Bathroom was huge, with a jacuzzi, however, we were not visiting long enough to use it. Otherwise, the location was nice. Close to plaza mayor, shops, tapas bars,etc... More

We just returned from our trip to Spain and Portugal July 16-23, 2014. We stayed at the Artheus on July 19. The hotel is walking distance from Old Salamanca. There are lots of shops, restaurants, cafes and a grocery store a short walking distance. The New Salamanca Cathedral, St. Esteban Convent and the Plaza Mayor were walking distance as well. The... The hotel is dated but the staff is nice and will attend to your needs. The room is a little small especially if you choose a king size bed. The beds are a little hard and most King size beds are two twin beds place together. The in hotel restaurant is not the best, better if you go a few... More

Part of a chain of hotels (and having used one of this chain already on this trip) which i add was excellent, we were assured if you used any of its others there would be a 10% discount - This was unknown to our receptionist SUPPOSEDLY and she refused to give us one. Had it not been raining 'cats and... More

It is billed as a 4 star hotel but it has definitely seen better days. Having said that, it was comfortable and everything worked. I agree with a previous reviewer, the reception area is extremely fussy. When we chose this hotel it was on the basis that we would be able to get reliable wifi in our room, which we... More

On entering the lobby I thought for a minute I'd come to a closing down sale in the lighting department in BHS. The lobby is full of really tacky chandeliers, lamps and candelabra. The chairs had something of a Louis XIV design about them. Not to my taste but it might appeal to some. I happen to prefer modern and... More
