Can't really give a thorough review of this hotel because we arrived late and left early but can tell the location is awesome. I want very much to revisit Salamanca and would consider this hotel or another one right near here - as it was close to the Plaza Mayor and the Cathedral. more

The location of this hotel is brilliant. At €59 per night for the room it is exellent value. The reception staff are helpful, the rooms fairly spacious and clean and comfortable. Perfect for a short stay to enjoy Salamanca more

This was one of those hotels where the front desk staff seemed to come from a different planet to those in the restaurant. The former appeared to be friendly and helpful whereas the latter resented the presence of us mere guests. If I ever wanted to be near this noisy square again, which frankly I doubt, I would opt for... more

This hotel is in a great location for seeing the old part of the city, but Salamanca lacks adequate street signs. It was very hard to find this hotel. We arrived after an overnight flight from the states and were pleased with the black-out drapes that let us sleep for a few hours. more

The hotel was situated on the corner of the main square in Salamanca which was the most attractive square we saw during our tour of Spain. The square was very lively of an evening with music playing. The evening meal started with soup which was acceptable. The main course was three small pieces of meat accompanied by vegetables drenched in... more

Looking for a centrally located hotel in Salamanca for a weekend stay with family, we found a good offer for this place, just off Plaza Mayor. All of us were very pleased with the rooms. At least the ones we had were very spacious, with nice large, comfortable beds, all very clean and with nice bathrooms. Actually one level up... more

We go often to Salamanca but we never noticed this hotel. It is hidden on a street just off Plaza Mayor, the great meeting point and historic landmark of Salamanca. On the good side: You just can't find a better location in Salamanca, it is near everything and still it is very quiet. The room we were given was great,... more

We stayed in this hotel for one night in September 2008. It has a great location (the back exit actually empties out onto Plaza Mayor), and the rooms were modern, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. Our rate included breakfast, which had a nice variety, inlcluding some hot foods. Overall, no real complaints and if ever back in Salamanca, I would definitely... more

Staff friendly, rooms reasonable size and we enjoyed a good buffet breakfast. Location was just off Plaza Mayor. Both bed and bath rooms of a reasonable size. More than adequate hotel to stay in when enjoying exploring the wonderful city of Salamanca. more

We stayed at the Catalonia for 2 nights and found it to be perfect for our needs. The location is one block off the Plaza Mayor, which can accessed by a commercial passage way just a few steps from the front door. The various walking streets of Salamanca's downtown are right there, as well as the covered evereyday market. Since... more
