This is a hotel that looks a little old.....but I think that's what they want it to be. A little old fashioned, not carpeted , etc . What I really like is its very near to the town square and shopping district. The service is pretty good. The air conditioned could not be controlled from the room, so it was... More

I enjoyed my 3 night stay here. Clean, comfortable. The biggest drawback is the lighting in the bathroom. Terrible for applying makeup. Used the closet mirror which was better but still poor lighting. And the lighting is motion controlled so continually turned off while applying makeup. Annoying. Close to Plaza Mayor and plenty of shopping, restaurants, cafes, etc. great location.... More

Elegant, comfortable, clean hotel in close proximity to shopping, the University of Salamanca, good bars and restaurants. Room was very pretty, comfortable beds and linens; roomy bathroom. Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were very good with generous selections. Both the waitstaff and front desk help were very friendly. I would definitely return.

I stayed at Hotel Alameda Palace for one night during a road trip through Spain. This is probably the cheapest 5 star hotel that I have stayed in, €100. Had fresh bathrooms. Was not happy about having to pay for ice! A little far out, about 20-30 min walk to old town.

We stayed at this hotel in November 2015. Check in was efficient and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Great location, easy walk to the old town and Plaza Mayor. The buffet breakfast was average. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We would stay here again.

An elegant looking hotel with an impressionable lobby. Our room was comfortable and allowed for a good sleep. The hotel is close to Old Town which is an added bonus. Breakfast was ok. The staff were helpful when needed, although seemed hurried all the time. Overall, the hotel is a nice place to stay when visiting Salamanca.

Polished brass, mega chandelier, rich woods, brocades, and marble in the lobby. Mirrors, mirrors everywhere, often in heavy gold-leafed frames. Mini-chandelier sconces and artwork line the corridors. The black marble bathroom has an interesting shower with multiple nozzles at various heights. Over the entry door there’s a soft amber light, so if you have to get up in the middle... More

The Alameda Palace is close to the old town and across from a small park. The room was very nice with lots of amenities. The staff was helpful. The in room safe did not work. Breakfast was great. You are only 10 minutes walk to the central square in the old town.

We stayed at the Hotel Alameda Palace for one night as part of an organised tour. Our room was satisfactory, although the airconditioner cut out during the early evening and as the weather was very warm, it did become a little stuffy. The bed was comfortable but would have been better with more pillows. The decor in the room is... More

Stayed here in September 2015 with Insight Vacations. Our tour guide even warned us about the poor quality of the food. Small buffet with luke warm offerings that were unedible. Even passed on the desserts...the Good Thing is that there is a the wonderful Plaza Mayor only 10 minutes away with many restaurants. If it is raining (as it was... More
